Pet-friendly, with a smart TV, strong WiFi signal and Blink EV charging station outside, we are within half a mile of a hoagie shop, pizza place, and Vietnamese restaurant, and a 4-minute drive to local shopping (Tanger Outlets), local brewery (Troegs) and Hershey Park.

This property seems odd at first because it's a separately-owned single hotel room inside of a Red Roof Inn. I reached out to the owner because I had some questions about it and they got back to me very quickly and were pleasant to talk to. The room itself is clean and newly renovated, and is nicer than the hotel rooms offered in the rest of the hotel. Check in is handled by a different hotel front desk in the same parking lot, but it was a super smooth and simple process and the people were very nice. There are some nice add-ons like hotel pool access and continental breakfast; I didn't take advantage of these, but the fees were reasonable and they're something I'd consider for the next trip.The location is great. It was around 10 minutes to Hershey Park, a close drive to some shopping areas, as well as close to a community center with a nice playground and pool. The neighborhood is nice to walk through and there are some shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall it was a nice stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The location was amazing and checkin/out was a breeze. We loved that the room was separate from the other rooms, making it a much more quiet experience. There was a lot of space to move around and the toiletries were a nice touch. The only thing I would recommend is putting an actual sign with the unit number near the doorway to the stairs, if others are looking for you, it can be hard to find.
