Great location!!!

Great little 1 bed, 1 bath beach unit in a great location. Walking distance to all the Bondi hot spots. We loved our 1 night stay here!

Loved it.

Really enjoyed our (all to brief) stay in Lamrock Ave. The place is in a quiet area but still handy to the beach. Communication with Miriam was easy and positive.

Fabulous apartment

I have stayed at this apartment many times as it is clean, fresh and right at the heart of Bondi Beach. Perfect hosts always available to assist if necessary. This apartment is amazing.

Convenient to the beach

This cute little apartment is a short walk to Bondi Beach and very close to restaurants, grocery stores, and so on. The hide-a-bed was perfect for our young son to sleep on and he said it was comfortable. We didn't use the laundry facilities, but it was nice to know they were onsite and available as well.

Fantastic location

Great little place to stay in Bondi. It is very old, but has everything you could need. The only thing I would say is that it can get pretty hot. There are two fans, one in the bedroom and one in the lounge area, but they are not very effective. There is no air conditioning. We had to leave the windows open at night as it was quite warm, but it was a bit noisy outside at times. As a few people have said, the bed is very soft, but it didn't worry us. Other than that, a good find.

As a very high maintenance San Franciscan, I've learned to have medium to low expectations of AirBnBs as I'm almost always disappointed, especially because I'm always looking for good value. Charles & Miriam were gracious, their home was basic and clean (very European style), was extremely aesthetically pleasing, and was literally 3 blocks from the water. An aside, Charles, I am SO SORRY that we left a few dirty dishes, our Uber came and we ran out in a rush! Thank you so much for having us! We'll tell all our friends to stay with you!

Not Happy At All

I was very disappointed.The fact that the cleaner was late with her cleaning which led to a late check in wasn’t great, it really threw our plans down the drain and all from there on went downhill. Considering it was just one night it should have been handled better not to mention I’m not quite sure what the cleaners do there as this time the place was a disaster. I have photos of all the mess, dust, torn sheets, filthy dirty fans, visible cobwebs in corners and under the couch when we opened it up to set up the bed for my brother was shocking. It seems like all the cleaner bothered doing was washing the towels. Sheets were smelly like they’ve been used and not washed, plants are dying in your house..I have no words… I didn’t want to write this in your review as I enjoyed my stay 2 years ago . I’m afraid after this I won’t be returning.I sent personal feedback to the manager saying I won’t rate this on the Stayz app but since I didn’t get any response, she didn’t even have the courtesy to apologise I have decided to put this up.

Great little apartment in Bondi

This is a very cute apartment that is well situated in Bondi - very close to the beach. There is no air conditioning, so if that's important for you, you might want to consider other accommodations. There are two fans in the flat, but one stopped working in the middle of a heatwave. When the temperatures cooled down, the fan started to work again! I guess it could not handle the heat either. Although, I suspect it might be the extension cords - only a few of the plugs work properly. I did reach out to the owners regarding this and, they responded to that first message quickly - asking me to send photos of the make/model (which I did) - but then I heard nothing from them after that. I stayed here 5 nights, and I reached out after the first night. Maybe they had a family emergency, but being ignored is frustrating. This is why I gave 1 out of 5 for communication, I would have given 0 if that was an option. And it is why the overall rating is 4 instead of 5.

Bondi Stay

Wonderful stay at this property, the apartment is lovely and has been equipped with everything that is needed. It is always sparkling clean and the owners Charles and Miriam are wonderful. Very prompt answers to any questions and always very friendly and helpful. The property is very close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants.

Wonderful Bondi apartment, spacious, clean, and has everything you need. Very convenient location and garage for parking which is amazing for the area. Charles and Miriam are very helpful and always respond to any questions very quickly. Would highly recommend this apartment.

Perfect spot!

The apartment is very well located, close to the beach and the shops but in a quiet area. My parents stayed there for more than 10 days and loved it. Communication with Miriam was easy and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended !

Perfect location and accomodation

Check-in instructions were so useful. The owner was responsive and helpful. The garage was super handy. Ensure to check measurements of the garage as it is suitable for small cars. The kitchen is terrific, thoughtfully laid out and with a handy dishwasher to stay in holiday mode by avoiding a big effort to clean up. The only concern I would raise, and this might not be a concern for everyone, is that the mattress is super soft. Overall, my kids and I had a wonderful time and I hope to stay there again!

The location was great, a very short walk to Bondi Beach, as described. After a couple days we returned the rental car and just used public transportation. Once you figure out the system it is easy, as all the trains and buses run on time and are interconnected. Getting to Sydney and back was very easy. The owners were always easy to reach by phone or text when we had any questions or concerns, and the unit is as described. Thanks for your hospitality Michelle &V BJerry
