If a day in the center of Athens is in your plans, it is only a 30’ drive (45’ tram ride) and apart from the endless beach options, a trip along the coast to Sounio is definitely worth the 50’ drive. You will be rewarded with the sight of the magnificent 2,500-year-old Temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean Sea.
