Imagine having a wrap around panoramic view of a lake and the ability to watch majestic sunrises and sunsets from an enormous backyard. The Point on Cedar Creek has it all! You can fish, swim, sunbathe, cookout, sit around a fire, play horseshoes, and other lawn games in this HUGE backyard with ample lighting at dark, or just relax and enjoy the stunning view. The Point on Cedar Creek is located on a quiet neighborhood peninsula. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space.

Bring your boat! The Point on Cedar Creek has dock whips for your bass boat or ski boat. It also has shallow water for easy anchoring!

Fun fact: A commercial for the 2015 Ford F-150 truck was filmed at this spacious house!!

The Point on Cedar Creek is located in a quiet neighborhood less than eight miles from the small town of Malakoff, where you can buy groceries visit antique shops or grab lunch.

We have two kayaks available for use. We also have a fire pit, horseshoes, Kan Jam, corn hole, foosball, shuffleboard, and lots of board games!

Perfect Location... COLD A/C!!!

This is the perfect location to stay in. You are on a dead-end road with a 180-degree view of the beautiful lake. The dock is great to be able to have a ladder down into the water. This house has the coldest A/C we have ever had in a VRBO and that is big for us when it's 102 outside. You are only 15 minutes from all the food you want to eat in Athen's. We really enjoyed the Athen's Brewing Company and Roma Italian for lunch and dinner.

Beautiful property and serene location!

This was a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view. It was perfect for 6 girlfriends that wanted a lake getaway! We had a maintenance mishap (no fault of homeowners). The property manager responded immediately and solved the problem. We truly enjoyed our time at the lake!

Great Birthday Weekend

We had a great stay at this property! Our group was adults and kids. The house was spacious, impeccably clean, and stocked with every amenity we could possibly need. Everything was in excellent working order, and our entire group couldn’t stop raving about how great the house was for our trip. The fire pit was a favorite—we enjoyed gathering around it each night.The property manager was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the experience even smoother.Overall, we had a truly enjoyable time, and this home played a big part in that. If we return to Cedar Creek, this will be the first place we check for availability. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Big 4 bed/3 bath home at end of wooded street right on lake. Property has a quiet, private feel. Homes on either side face away from the property, so backyard (faces SE) feels huge & secluded - never saw any neighbors. Backyard is big enough for kids to throw balls & frisbees. Large shade trees. Good grass - can walk through backyard barefoot. View looks over lake to the tree'd shoreline on other side. You are Not looking right into other yards. The dock was sturdy & in good condition (lift for kayaks out of order, but we just pulled them down). There is a beach type area where you can just walk into the lake for swimming (lake was low during our stay, so this may not always be the case) Kids built "mud castles" there. Partially Covered back porch is small-medium and has fans; lots of outdoor chairs available, but no outdoor table at our visit. Medium size grill on back porch was easy to use. Big firepit was fun for smores and you will see STARS. Kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, cookie sheets, skillets, plates, toaster, serving trays, salt, pepper. I even saw an ice cream maker & crock pot tucked up in the pantry. Bedrooms feel homey and inviting with real furnishings (not bare & cheap like some rentals). The shared downstairs bathroom has the vanity in a separate area than the toilet/tub making it user friendly for big groups. Teens liked the upstairs game room. Great place for 3 couples and elementary to teen kids; Family get aways. Indoor fireplace is for show
