Great Location

Great location, Randa available when needed, would recommend staying here. Pet friendly & my mini dachshund loved chasing all the little lizards around the yard.

Great place near beach

We have stayed at this location several times and it is always a great place. A short walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby.

Great for Family Reunion

Randa's place was great. Quiet, clean and overall relaxing. The pool was great, could use some lighting around the pool at night. The unit was very good. Clean, plenty of towels, kitchen needs and bright. Location is quiet, we thought the area did not have enough conveniences in walking distance since we did not rent a car but Uber was pretty quick. Since the entire complex only has 3 units, this would be a great location for a family reunion.

Very nice property.

Well described property. Everything per description. Randa is very nice and responsive person. We did not have any issue during our 7days stay. Property was clean with all amenities we needed. It is located very close (walking distance) to the ocean beach. We spent fantastic week there. Kids 6 and 10 were amazed by the swimming pool and the trips we could do to KeyWest, Everglades park and Miami. Property is located close to airport (15 minutes by Uber), which is additional plus. I recommend it and I will come back.

Lovely house and location

We really enjoyed the home, patio, pool, and short walk to the beach. Owners were very responsive to questions and came quickly to fix a slow draining tub.

Rethinking method of vacation accommodations

Randa and Matt are terrific people. I found them kind, interested and helpful. They are really selling the dream of a nice vacation, but it felt when I walked the property that they gave up maintaining not only the outside vegetation but aspects of indoor accommodations. The pool was not heated for the first 10 days and the clothes washer had to be replaced. Kitchen, fridge and dishwasher were adequate. The water pressure was terrific. I stayed on the property for one month and felt the location was great and felt safe. Outside lights went out at midnight leaving me in the dark for early morning walks with the pup. Bed was horrible. Should have been replace a long time ago. Back aches no sleep resulted in an air mattress purchase. Not good for the total expense of the stay and it left me feeling tired/sore out of commission just trying to recover from inability to rest adequately. Due to extenuating personal circumstances, I did not share this experience with Randa and Matt and navigated this issue myself. Kitchen chair pads were dirty, the couch needs refeshing/cleaning. Using the washer located in the rear of the condo I fell because there is a 6 to 8 inch drop off from the sidewalk into the yard. I turned around from using the washer and my heel fell off the edge of the walk. I really walked away a bit beat up and tired. I am sorry Matt and Randa for your difficulties at this time but I will look elsewhere in the future. Great people but my vacation time and funds did not support this rental.

Chased out by Hurricane

The unit was cute, just as depicted and described. Lighting was poor as we accessed the lock box for the key and in the courtyard around the pool. We only got to stay two full days because of the approaching hurricane, but the unit was clean and comfortable. The area was quiet and the beach was easily accessible.

Very Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay. We did not have a car, but used Lyft/Uber and rented the bicycles across the street. The pool was clean with nice privacy.

Fort Lauderdale beach getaway

Property was very clean and comfortable. Perfect for 2 people. Great location very close to all restaurants and shopping. Three minute walk to the beach, and the pool 10 feet from your door. I would rent this property again.

Property was advertised as a home. My wife and I thought this was a home for 1 couple. However, home converted to 4 apartments. 36 wedding anniversary with no privacy. Parking sucks, floods out, people in area are rude. Overall rating - NEVER AGAIN!

Super nice place. Loved it.

This place was immaculent. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice fenced yard. Air conditioners worked great. Pool was super clean. Quiet beautiful neighborhood.

Clean, quiet and very conveniently located.

We enjoyed our stay in Ft Lauderdale at this property. I corresponded before the stay with the owner and she was very prompt in her responses, as well as during our stay. We had a vehicle problem and they both went above and beyond to make sure we had the resources we needed and even called to check on us later. Very nice folks!

Perfect for girls trip!

We took a quick weekend trip with 3 girlfriends! The location cannot be beat! It was so nice to have the pool in the evenings and be such a short walk to the beach. We had a question one evening and Randa got back to us immediately! Will definitely be back!

Awesome place and location

We really enjoyed staying here. It was more than the photos conveyed! Beach was a short block away. The condo was perfect for my wife and i. Will be on our list to return.

Great location

We stayed for one week & the location was great. Having a pool was also a nice bonus. The only negative comment would be that the bed needs a thick topper & plusher pillows would really improve the stay. It was nice being able to walk around the neighborhood & being able to walk to restaurants. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Great place to stay with a very short walk to the beach. Unit was clean and had everything we needed

We were able to find this place last minute (3 weeks prior to our stay) due to someone else canceling. What a great find. We had several walks to the beach but also spent a great deal of time at the pool. Short walk to shooters and flip flops (bars/restaurant). You do share the pool area with two other units but we had great neighbors. We are thinking about renting all three of the units in the future to bring the entire family and thief spouses. We had a great time and will be back.

We have been vacationing in Fort Lauderdale for over 10 years while our children were still young. Since then we have returned again and again first as a family and recently just the two of us. We have decided to retire here because of all the wonderful family memories we have in Fort Lauderdale and the beautiful beaches and sunny skies. We fell in love with Palm Shadows at first sight over 5 years ago and were finally able to acquire it

The Spanish style L shape architecture with the pool situated in the front of the property as well as the tropical lush setting made us feel in a paradise and in constant holidays. Before retiring into Fort Lauderdale we used to stay at Palm Shadows when we came down. It is the ultimate vacation home that one could dream off.
