Thank you so much for your review! We are glad your overall stay was comfortable. We are so pleased when we get feedback from guests with issues that we wouldn't otherwise find so easily. Since your stay, we have replaced batteries and ensured that the remotes worked. We rented a fabric cleaner machine to handle the tough cleaning of our couches. The vacuum cleaner is an old one, it will be replaced! The cable during this season is pretty basic and the nightly rate reflects that, however during our summer months, the programs get upgraded. Thanks again!

ames, So sorry we weren't made aware of any issues during your stay. We could have addressed and rectified all of them for you! New beds and pillows have been being replaced between guests. One queen bed in that home was still due to be replaced, but we didn't receive it until after you checked in. We would have loved to swap it out for you! All the pillows have been replaced, as they are every year. The warning sign in the laundry room should have been thrown out, as we replaced the well and water treatment system last season, and have had no issues. We could have gladly replaced the coffee pot, as we keep extras on hand. (coffee pots do go bad more often than we could've ever imagined). The neighbor is a member of the neighborhood watch, and does have a sign. The website does list what we do and don't include with the property, so you can review before you book. However, the website indicates that we do not supply any paper products, but we have been supplying enough essentials (TP, hand-soap, DW detergent, etc) to get you started. Also, there has typically been tin foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, etc left over from previous guests on site (but we cannot guarantee that will be the case for everyone). The tree debris on the chairs is something we try to avoid by blowing off between each guest, but sometimes nature happens and a windy day or some rain may knock some twigs, leaves, and nuts down on the chairs and they may need to be whisked off real quick. That’s just the horrors of living in nature. Maybe a more urban setting would work better for your next “vacation”?
