I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway for his birthday. Jeanette and Dennis were amazing hosts. There is designated parking. Check in was a breeze. The view of the lake is beautiful. We spent our first evening in the dock and watched the sun set. When we returned to our accommodations, we had a chilled bottle of wine and snacks waiting for us. On Saturday, we spent the day on the lake in a water hammock. There was an afternoon storm, but we’re able to stay down at the lake and enjoy it at the boat house. Early evening, Jeanette took us on a boat ride and stopped off at a campground to get some ice cream. It was a perfect weekend.
