Great stay!!

We love this location!! The beach is wonderful and not crowded. The grounds are immaculately maintained. Condo was well equipped. We will be back again!

Wonderful condo and location

We loved our time at the condo! This is a great, convenient location for exploring all around Maui. We loved the rooftop for beautiful ocean views, whale watching and the most gorgeous sunsets. The beach area is very nice and so calm. The condo was very clean and had everything you could possibly imagine for home away from home experience. Highly recommend and would definitely book again!

Enjoyable

We had a minor problem, not knowing how to turn out an outside light, and Joe was very quick to help us. The home was very nice and the beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. The view from the lanai was wonderful and it was just like the beach was our front yard. We had a great stay!

Great property with a hiccup

Property was well kept quiet and great access to beach. Bonus was enjoying daily sunning of turtles on the beach and rocks. Beautiful 360’ view on rooftop. This condo is not a penthouse as described, does have an ocean view but photos have been cleverly staged.

Great Time

Property is a little older but it is still beautiful. Had some trouble obtaining a parking pass. The office is open very limited hours and we were already out the door each day before it opened. They were closed when we returned. A few notes were left on our car even though we followed the requests of after hours parking. Had to change one days plan to get a parking pass. That was a bummer.

Here is an honest review of this condo. We had rented two condos in the same building as we had a few family members on vacation with us.Things that were lovely on this property: the view is amazing, general property was nice, had a great pool for the kids with lots of chairs, had front access to a great beach you could snorkel and swim in, it was quiet and clean and spacious for four people. Things that were not so great:AC temp couldn't be controlled and couldn't be controlled by room, it had a timer onlyPatio door was old, broken and falling off the tracks all the timePatio furniture way too bigBroken storage box outside, which is also an eye soreOutdatedNo beach towelsSmell in freezerSilverware and dishes not matching and sufficient for family of four, this was really frustrating as there were four forks ... 2 big and 2 small. This is a really small thing they should have ensured was sufficientPots and pans extremely old and worn, again cheap to fixDoor had no door stop so you couldn't keep it openScreen door wouldn't closeDrawers did not open and close smoothly, very stickyWasher and dryer were so loud that you could not watch TV or sleep while it was running Again, lots of these thing were fixable should the owners choose to do so. In fairness, we had contacted Joe to fix the doors etc. He was able to come out a few days later to help us with the doors but a few days is a lot of days into a vacation.

Special Family Vacation

Beautiful views with great building amenities. Loved the BBQ's right by the pool / shuffleboard as well as the roof top. Beds + bedding were all very comfortable and great quality, as were all the linens. The couch + lanai furniture were also very comfortable. Nicely decorated with lovely Hawaiian photographs and shells. Our host Joe was easy to get a hold of with the few minor questions we had as the check in / out process was made extremely easy with the informative email. The second bedroom worked very well for our 2 teen agers with the two single beds. Mahalo!

Kihei vacation review

Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay during our time on Maui. Unit 624 was perfect for our family vacation, celebrating 25 years of marriage with my wife and spending spring break with our twin 16 year old boys. The location was perfect as it was centrally located to all of our planned activities. The unit was clean and provided all of the conveniences of home. The beach was easily accessible however, it is more for walking and viewing than for water activities as it is located in a shallow area - perfect for little kids though! The owner was easy to communicate with and always responded in a timely manner from start to finish. Our only recommendation is to update the secondary bathroom.

Just OK

Great location. Needs updating. Comfort was an issue. The temperature could not be controlled. AC was on a timer and could only be on or off. There were a few standing fans but 2 were filthy and noisy. I always treat others homes with respect and I realize this is not the case for everyone. However, the list of rules was overwhelming. Some of the rules made me feel like I was moving into a nursing home.

It’s OK, but there are a few things…

Pros: - Great view - Has AC, but it’s on a timer Cons: - Ants in kitchen - 2nd bedroom smells like mildew - 5th person sleeps on couch (no pull-out bed) - Beach is rocky and water is murky, but that’s not the condo’s fault. You’ll need to drive if you want to hang out on the beach. - Had to air out the condo when we first arrived, smelled so bad (heavily perfumed cleaning products) - Master Bed is very uncomfortable

Nice condo

Nice condo with great view of the ocean. Condo is simple but a nice stay. Close drive to everything to do in Maui. Great way to watch sunrise and sunsets. Condo has pretty much everything you would need to stay, cook, go to the beach, etc.

16 Days in Maui did not disappoint

We had a great time in this condo . We had all the Amenities needed to have a comfortable stay . The condo is decorated beautifully and very comfortable. The property manager had great communication and was very helpful . I would not hesitate to book this condo . The beach is beautiful as well and we saw turtles in front of the resort every day . Only little detail is there is no where to store paddle boards and they won’t fit up an elevator so we had to buy blow up ones form Costco . Minor detail but if you love paddle boarding or surfing on Maui this is just a little advice. Great time and we will be back .

Cute condo, good location

The condo was cute, not super fancy considering the price - but hey that’s Maui for you! And you’re paying for the location and Oceanside view The beach was literally right outside, but it wasn’t the most walkable or swimmable beach (rough pebbles). What was an unexpected surprise was the Indian restaurant on the complex with a stunning ocean view - definitely give that a go! Also, do note the AC is not adjustable by guests in terms of strength, temperature or direction. When we needed an adjustment, joe was very helpful and came over to help us fix it. All in all, it was a nice stay! Thanks Joe :)

Perfect home base for a Maui visit

This property was perfect for our family of four. The centralized location made it easy to get around all the various parts of the island to see Maui's many sights. The condo was incredibly clean, and the great layout ensured the kids and adults had their own separate spaces. The pool offered a great place to relax in the late afternoons, when the beaches were too windy, and the rooftop deck offered spectacular sunset views. The owners were proactive in communicating with us before and throughout our stay and very responsive. I have nothing but great things to say about this property!

Maui Tranquility

Superb property on the ocean with direct access to a wonderful calm beach area with lots of sea turtles on the rocks during the day. Manicured lawn area and the pool and restaurant on the site were very nice. The unit we had was clean and well equipped and we enjoyed the master bedroom that faced the ocean and the sounds of the waves pounding ashore. The entry lock was digital and eliminated the need to make sure someone had the key. All in all one of the best condo units I have stayed at in Maui. Will return, hopefully March 2023. Oh and the whale were everywhere.

Excellent place and great communication

We absolutely loved our stay at Joe's Place. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a family of four and it was perfect. There was room to spread out, to have meals, and to relax. The views were incredible. The host was very good at responding as was his housekeeper when we had a question. If I come back to Maui I hope to stay here again. Thank you!

From the soft golf grass turf to the beautiful pool you feel like you are in heaven. Huge rooftop providing 360 degree views of all of maui. This is why we chose this condo; peaceful, relaxing yet close to the action of what Hawaii is all about! Ocean view and Ocean sounds, Sunrise and Sunset - look the other way and you can see the crater and green mountains or the moons reflection over the ocean! Inside the condo - Special attention to all the details is what makes this vacation seamless. We have everything you need from beach gear, coolers and a full kitchen ready for your stay!
