Perfect for relaxing at the lake

That Little Lake House will be a memorable getaway for your whole family! Located only 10 minutes from downtown Mabank and Gun Barrel City. Enjoy the covered back porch with seating and a pull down movie screen, fire pit, and gas grill.One bunk bed with full bottom and twin top, night stand, fan, ceiling light, and window

In the evening you can enjoy a lake fire or enjoy seating on the dock. We have chairs so you don't have to bring them!
We do have a security camera that faces the driveway and one that faces the lake. These are for safety/security reasons. We also have a door camera.

Relaxation

We enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the beautiful sunset view. The house was well kept and very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Little Lakehouse

Our stay was very relaxing. We caught small catfish off the dock, sat on the covered patio enjoying the views and viewed the stars at night from the upper dock.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great time this weekend. The fish were not biting but the house was so peaceful and quiet that we didn't care. I hope to come back this summer when it is warmer.

We walked in the door and found another family already in our listing. Can you imagine their shock, as we had to code and walked right in. Well, at first I thought, this is going to be fine, VRBO and this property manager will work to help us resolve this, maybe we will even get a nicer place. Well after 2 hours just in the driveway with two kids and on the street as the sun set and our hopes were dashed waiting on hold! Multiple times we asked/begged the property manager to call us and give us direction on next steps, to no avail. This property manager had the nerve to text us they were 'so mad at VRBO'. Excuse me? We are in a tiny town we have never been to, in the middle of nowhere, standing in a driveway, and you are mad, but what are we supposed to do? IT WAS INSANITY. And then talking to VRBO was even worse, if that is possible...because they take down their listings in the evening for that same day...so we ended up in a motel for the night!! And VRBO would not help us find a listing that would consider having us come early, we had to rent a nother place, non-refundable, and hope they would let us in early. Which, thankfully they did...so their mercy saved the weekend, but not this property manager, who in the face of our siutation did not help at all. I think they tried, but had their hands tied by the parent company, but they could have called to just give ANY clarity, we were on hold for 3 hours that evening. What a nice way to start a short weekend away.

Wonderful

Exactly as described, great communication, beautiful little lake house with a fantastic view. Very relaxing, had a a great time! Deck over the boat house gave a really nice sunset view!

Relaxing moments

The house was very clean and welcoming. The lake views are very nice. My husband and son really enjoyed the fishing time together. I enjoyed relaxing outside listening to music. We had a good and relaxing family time..

Very relaxing week!

We had a very relaxing week at the Lake House. Everything was as described, and Jessica was great to communicate with. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and enjoying the sunsets on the top deck. We will be back again. Thank you

Canton weekend.

The house had a lot of DIY projects that showed. And it felt like you were on surveillance due to the multiple cameras all over the property. The neighborhood was hit or miss with trailers and okay houses. Overall it surved it's purpose for our stay to attend canton trades day though.

Visiting family

We live in Oklahoma but my mom is from this area. We bring her back to visit her sister and our cousins that live in Eustace twice a year and we live to get a house on Cedar Creek Lake. This house was perfect!!! It was very clean and was exactly as was advertised! The beds were so comfy and the view was AMAZING!!!! We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. The fire pit was perfect, even though we didn't start a fire the chairs were perfect for an evening glass of wine looking at the water. Will definitely stay here again!!!
