Beautiful Cape Harbour area! This house is for the big family! 5 Bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and located on a Canal with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. Everything you need for a perfect vacation is available in this house, even a kids room with bunk beds! Walk from this house to the Cape Harbour Marina with its shops and Restaurants, even a boat rental place is nearby. You can dock the boat directly on the boat dock of the house or fish from the dock.

MN Spring Break

Great location, 2 master suites with bathrooms attached and 3 additional bedrooms with an additional shared bathroom open to the common living. Garage space for 1 car. Pool was concrete with benches on both ends, great for lounging after a long day on the beach, but deep, 3’-5’, we stayed with grandparents and our daughter, everyone enjoy having their own personal space to hang out in. Kitchen was average size, with 3 seating areas, 2 inside and 1 outside in shade near pool. Grill on the patio worked great, had steaks and burgers on 2 nights. Within walking distance of small shops, marina for fishing or boat rental, and live music at the bars near the shops. (5 minute walk literally). We rented a boat for a whole day and took advantage of the canal and dock at the property it is a 10-15 minute boat ride, but makes loading up easy and then we spent an hour or so in exploring the canals before heading out to the inter costal water ways. This was an easy place to home base from, groceries are 1 mile north. We visited several beaches during our stay. (Ft Myers, Sanibel, Captiva, Punta Gorda, Manasota, and Boca Grande) overall excellent, already planning for next year.

Wonderful time had by all!

Great location. Minutes to the river by boat. Adequate dock space. Manatee visits in the canal. Kitchen well equipped. Solar heated pool always warm. Comfy beds. Perfect for large family. Walking distance to Cape Harbor shopping, restaurants, outdoor concerts. Freedom Boat club.

Lovely Accommodating Home

The home was perfect for our family. Beautiful quiet neighborhood, close to stores. The pool was very nice and clean. The kitchen had all the appliances and gadgets. We hope to be back again.

Fabulous.

Wonderful place. Right on Canal, walking distance to restaurants, bars with live entertainment, shopping, and a marina just down the street. The house had all the amenities that you would need. Very clean and very easy to work with. Would stay there again.

Great House and Great Location

Beautiful house with plenty of dishes, pans, towels, etc. Pool was wonderful, and house location could not be better. Easy/quick in and out by boat for fishing and exploring in the river and gulf. The house is very close to restaurants and shopping as well. The area is great for walking the neighborhood, and the house is right across the street from the marina complex where there are shops and live entertainment. Ingrid is wonderful and responded very quickly to questions with suggestions for boat rental facilities prior to our trip.

Big house in a great neighborhood

The check in process was smooth. The house is very big which fit our family of 8 perfectly. The pool is heated, but was set to 56 degrees, so it got cold our second day there. We got help turning it up so it was comfortable to swim in later. The house could use some updates. The grill doesn’t heat above 325, there are loose patio pavers around the pool, and the glass doors slide hard. Nothing terrible, just lacking in upkeep.

Wonderful location.

Easy location. Kitchen plentiful . Appreciated simple supplies and spices left by others. Plenty of towels. Pool was cold when we arrived. Heater had to be turned on. Took pool 2 days to get to good temperature after heater was turned on. Appreciated that we were allowed to stay an extra day to cordinate with our flight. Appreciated use of garage. Large supply of pool toys for all ages. Grandkids loved the bunkbeds verus staying in a room with their parents. Plenty of space to have personal time or family game night. Appreciated puzzles, books and games in cupboard. Gas grill provided but had to supply own gas which can be expected. Left gas to pay it forward.. Would recommend this site for family of 10. Plenty of couches to use if over 10 people. Thank you Ingrid.. we enjoyed our stay !

PERFECT Family Vacation Home

The Home location was Excellent. Literally around the corner from Cape Harbor MARINA. We rented a Boat as well...So the Convenience was GREAT. Everything worked great. Pool was Very nice as well. There were 10 of us and We All Had plenty of space. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We will be back Again for sure . Thank You Ingrid and Chris!

Loved the house

Loved our stay here! Rented a boat for the week and it was awesome! Saw manatees and dolphins in the canal. House was perfect for our stay, plenty of room for our group of 10. Home owner was quick to get back with any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Great location! Relaxing.

We loved our stay! The neighborhood was quiet and the house was in close proximity to beaches and restaurants. Plan on 30-40 minute drives everywhere...it’s just the FL traffic. BUT we were able to walk the marina (5 minute walk) which was such a great bonus.. a little coffee shop, restaurants, gift shops, and live music throughout the week. We travelled to beaches, took several hikes and thoroughly enjoyed family time. We found a incredible church for Easter Sunday called Christian Life Fellowship that we highly recommend!! As for the house, it doesn’t bother us too much if the decor isn’t completely up to date it was nice but a touch out of date. The master bedroom needed a touch of tic but the manager assured us that they are working on getting new flooring. The house was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably and was clean! Beds were clean and comfortable. They had extra beach towels available which was great because the kids enjoyed the heated pool so much! The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed using the grill for our fresh seafood from the market up the street! We kayaked and fished the canal and we saw two manatee in the canal one evening which was a highlight for sure! Pelican was a nice rental for us and we would most certainly rent again! Overall, it was truly a wonderful stay and a great place for any family to enjoy!

Great house and location

We had a very nice time at this location. We were able to enjoy the house, the pool and amenities without any issues. Quiet Neighborhood. The only issue is that there is a noice ordenance at 10pm but other than that everything is great!!!

Great location for large group

We had a great stay at the Pelican. The property layout was well suited for three different families, two of which were seniors. The indoor and outdoor common spaces were large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The location is perfect, we were able to see a visiting pod of dolphins and a manatee from our dock. The house had everything we needed and the owners were very accommodating with the check-in and check-out process. Would highly recommend this property!

Great Stay

Our overall stay was great. We arrived and the property manager met us at the house right away. He answered questions and prepared us for our stay. We had a couple very minor issues during the week and the property manager came out immediately and took care of them. We were very happy with the service. The location of the house was perfect. It was a short drive to the beach and we say manatee and dolphin in the canal behind the house regularly.
