Excellent

Perfect for our family weekend. House was clean. Game room was a hit. Location was convenient for our outings to the state parks/trails.

House was great for my large family. Plenty of room. Pool and gameroom a hit with the kids. Cons. Beds very uncomfortable and need some curtains or blinds in bedrooms. Too much light to sleep good.

We mostly enjoyed our stay. The pool was definitely a win for our grandchildren. The cabin was very clean and well represented by the pictures on the site. We were disappointed to have no control over the temperature in the cabin. It was very hot and hard to rest at night. The beds were also pretty uncomfortable. We were told we needed to leave a day early due to snow and road conditions but were not reimbursed any amount. We were told we would have had to buy insurance for that.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the pool and cleanliness. We apologize for the temperature and bed comfort issues. Regarding the early departure, we simply warn of impending weather and send alerts. Our messages clearly warn of weather related driving challenges and it anyone is not comfortable they can check out. It is always a choice for our guests to do so and therefore we wouldn't offer a refund. Regardless, our travel insurance does offer a refund for what you mention above. I am sorry for the confusion. We do hope if you choose us again it is a better experience.

Plenty of room for large group. The fridge didnt work until 2nd day we were there, they did bring us a cooler and ice to put our groceries in. I would suggest not buying groceries until next day if you stay. If youre like us and have diabetics who need to keep insulin cool take a cooler until the fridge can get to temp and maintain. We could not use the pull out sofa due to it being covered in rat poop. There was rat poop in the laundry closet and at the fridge. The game room is on the top floor where the 3rd bedroom is, so whoever sleeps there will be listening to the pool balls. The pool area was very nice. They did not take the outside garbage receptacles off while we were there, if we had stayed longer we would have had nowhere to put our trash.

We're concerned about the pest control problems you encountered and the fridge delay, as these fall well short of our standards. We do wish you had contacted us about the rodent issue when you called about the fridge as we would have re-sent housekeeping and additional pest control immediately. Your experience with medical needs like insulin storage should never be compromised. We genuinely value your visit and want to ensure these concerns are addressed immediately for future guests.
