This house is one house away from a great beach. So much fun to step out of the house and practically be on the beach. Although the beach is public, public parking is unavailable, so it was usually quiet and never crowded.
This house has some great things and some not great things:
In addition to the proximity of the beach, it has a spacious deck with a dining table and umbrella. We spent a lot of time on the deck! In addition, you get access to a private parking lot. The upstairs is great if you have lots of guests. In addition to two bedrooms (3 beds) there is a nice den up there.
On the downside: there is a tremendous amount of clutter/ junk through the house, especially in the small kitchen. Some of the things I. The kitchen were dirty - but you can’t expect a cleaning service to check through piles of stuff. They could get rid of 3/4 of the kitchen items and the place would be a lot more comfortable. There was also clutter in the rest of the house, though not to the extent of the kitchen. The appliances are older, as are the furnishings and could use updating. I didn’t find the interior to be very pleasant because of this, but then we spent our time outside on the deck or beach so it was fine. Also note that parking is down a path and across the road. Since there is sand involved, skip the wheeled luggage and plan to carry everything into the house.
