This villa is a breathtaking jewel. The views are stunning. The villa is really well-equipped, with so much attention to the details that make for a wonderful stay. The host was very responsive and great to work with. Made us feel like guests in their home. Just wish we never had to leave.

Helen and I enjoyed the relaxed comfort of the beautiful villa, the location, the cleanliness and usability of all its amenities, but most importantly, the trust and friendship of the villa’s hosts, Michel and Jany.

Our stay at Villa Perchoir was absolutely spectacular! We loved the pool, hot tub, and views! The privacy the villa offered was beyond compare and, our hosts were so nice and were available if we had any questions. The almost daily cleaning service was very nice to refresh towels, do light cleaning, etc. We definitely would love to come back!

A slice of Heaven

Le Perchoir is truly a perfect villa on a hill. The view is spectacular- you just never get tired of seeing that blue ocean. The house is immaculate - feels brand new and very user friendly. We enjoyed going to the nearby bakery in the morning, packing a picnic and exploring all the amazing beaches. We could not have asked for a better stay - or better house . We can’t wait to return.

Absolute Heaven!

Everything was exactly as advertised. Michel, (The Owner) met us at the airport and escorted us to the villa. If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded slice of paradise, then this villa is for you! It was so serine, that one day, we did nothing but stay at the villa and hung out by the pool and the hot tub. Absolute Heaven!!!

We were thrilled with our visit to Villa Perchoir! The owners have thought of every detail to make this villa the perfect choice for your visit. It is private, very quiet, has an amazing view, hot tub, private pool, shade or sunny deck areas to enjoy and A/C in the bedroom for a great sleep! Michel and Jany live nearby and are available for anything you may need! They are extremely welcoming and want you to enjoy your stay in the villa and in St Barths! We loved our stay and are hoping to return soon to Villa Perchoir!

Perfect couples getaway with world class views nestled atop a private hill!

This is our third stay here, and our first in 13 years. The villa has been greatly improved since our last stay. Incredibly, the photos don't do justice to how amazing the views are. We loved the plunge pool and jacuzzi on the private deck. The kitchen is very functional and the bedroom is very large. It's only a 2-minute drive to a great patisserie and restaurant, and a 2 minute drive (or short walk) down the hill to Flamands Beach. Perfect couples getaway, and a great value! The property owners are very friendly and responsive. Can't wait to come back!

Wow! St. Barth’s Perfection!

The views from Le Perchoir are amazing! The house is in an ideal location. The pool is perfect for hot days and you can open the house doors to feel the island breezes all day long. The AC unit in the bedroom ensures you get a cool, good nights sleep. The kitchen is well equipped and we made many dinners there. The cleaning woman is very nice and she does a great job tidying up and providing clean towels and new bedding. Michel is a fabulous host and can answer any questions you have. We had a perfect stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Villa

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Villa Perchoir in March 2024. The place is amazing! The view is incredible. We had everything we needed. The villa was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Daily maid service was a bonus. First class everything right down to the towels and robes. The pool was heated. It was such an amazing experience to enjoy the pool while overlooking such a beautiful view. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in each day. Villa Perchoir is truly a wonderful experience!

A Slice of Paradise

This was our 1st stay at Le Perchoir and on St Barth's and nothing that I can type or show will describe how incredible the experience was. Michel and Jany have truly thought of everything needed at their private villa to make your stay enjoyable. As this was my honeymoon they went out of their way to provide little touches for my wife to let us know how welcome we were there. Many others have stated that the photos don't do this place justice and that's 100% true. The villa is centrally located near Flamands, Columbier and St Jean's beaches along with a French bakery and restaurant. Some of our favorite moments for the trip were sitting on the fabulous deck which overlooks Flamands beach in the plunge pool, hot tub or hammock and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. This place is truly a perfect couples getaway location with hosts who are friendly and helpful.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!

Look no further....Villa Perchoir is absolutely AMAZING and is the perfect place to stay!!! It is quiet, romanitc, secluded, classy and has the best view in town. This was our 2nd time staying at the villa and it was even better than the first, if that is possible. The pictures on the website do not do justice as they keep upgrading and adding small things to make it even better. The owners, Michel & Jany, are so friendly to work with and you are guaranteed a great customer service experience just with them alone. Villa Perchoir sits on top of a hill and you are completely secluded and you can even hear the waves from the bedroom. The view is priceless from the deck and its great to watch the morning sun and sky turning colors from the sunset. The location is perfect as it is a short drive to the local bakery, which is a must every morning and is centrally located to the beaches and town. We will definitely stay here again!

The new pool and deck are amazing

Our first visit to Le Perchoir was back in 2013. 5 stays later, we can't think of going anyplace else. Michel and Jany have completed a magnificent addition with the infinity pool and deck, taking the view from amazing to jaw-dropping spectacular. Happy hour at Le Perchoir was always one of our favorite activities on St Barts, but now even more so sitting in the comfortable outdoor furnishings overlooking the infinity pool and beyond to Flamands beach and Ile Chevreau. As night falls, the pool can be lighted in a variety of changing or static colors depending on which playlist I have on my iPhone connected to the excellent sound system. It really is magical. I agree with others that the reviews here are highly accurate so there's not much more to add, other than thanking Michel and Jany yet again for their hospitality and another great St Barts vacation!

Love love love

My husband and I have been going to St. Barths on our Anniversary since our honeymoon three years ago. Unfortunately for us, we did not find Le Perchoir until this year; and we have completely fallen in love with it. A large portion on the home is open air, which we loved so much; while the bedroom has a/c to ensure perfect sleeping conditions. The view is absolutely out of this world. The ocean literally hits you in the face and you really are up on your own little mountain, or perch - it is absolutely fantastic. We had planned to eat dinner out every night, but when we saw the terrace over looking the ocean, we decided to enjoy many of our dinners at the home. My husband is a chef and was very pleased with the kitchen and all that it offers, as well as the grill. There is really nothing lacking at all in this villa, they really have thought of it all. It is not a super fancy/modern villa but it truly does offer everything that is listed here that the owners state. It far exceeded both of our expectations and we were both so so sad to leave. Actually, I think the first thing my husband asked Michel when he showed us the home was, "is it for sale"?? I would recommend this villa for a couple looking for privacy, an AMAZING view, the perfect location, and that true 'home away from home' feel. We can't wait to go back and can't thank Michele and Jany enough for their gracious hospitality. Until next time!!! :)

Little piece of St Barth paradise

Overall I can't find enough good things to say about the property and the hosts. The villa is absolutely gorgeous, with seemingly every little nuance thought through. Want to grill some meat? There's a grill on the patio! Want to make cocktails? There's a shaker and martini glasses? Worried about mosquitoes? The bedroom has a mosquito net. The list goes on and on.Michel and Jany have also been absolutely wonderful hosts throughout the entire experience. They picked us up at the ferry and drove us around the first night, when we were challenged to get around. They were also very sweet and thoughtful by leaving us things like water and a fruit basket in the property. They even left us delicious "happy anniversary" cake, knowing that we are celebrating our anniversary on the island. The only slight downside of the property is the location. Don't get me wrong - it's still really good: an unbeatable view and only a 15 minute walk to Flamand beach. However it is a bit of a longer walk to Gustavia with a lot of hills and stretches without a "real" sidewalk. That being said, in our experience any place in Gustavia or other popular location will be a lot more expensive for what you get. My recommendation is to avoid the same mistake we made and make sure you have a rental car booked way in advance since taxis are extremely difficult during high season and getting around can get challenging.

Breathtaking Beauty & Tranquility @ Villa Le Perchoir

Bonjour. I hope that as you are reviewing this villa listing for St. Barths that you will be as fortunate as my wife and I to be staying or planning to stay and rest your mind, body, and soul at Villa Le Perchoir which Michel et Jany Blanchard have been so kind to make available and share with others. As others have stated, visiting St. Barths and staying at Villa Le Perchoir in person certainly exceeds all expectations by way of the beauty, comfort, and the abiding joy offered by the Villa , its presentation, belle vue and surroundings. The e-mail communications with Michel during our reservation inquiry, booking, and payment went very smoothly and he was always most kind and professional. Upon our arrival at the airport on St. Barths we were welcomed in person by Michel and able to pick up our rental vehicle--a very dependable Suzuki Jimny with 4WD and a sunroof--to follow Michel the short distance to the Villa Le Perchoir. The driveway to the villa is steep--thanks for 4WD--and well-maintained. The exterior grounds as you approach the villa consist of simple and elegant landscaping that surrounds you with the island's natural beauty of cactus, flowers, birdsongs, and trees. Upon opening the initial door to the villa you are entering a courtyard in which is placed items for your excursions to the many scenic and tranquil beaches on the island--folding beach chairs, a beach umbrella and cooler. The villa's ample and well-lit courtyard has a small table with two chairs as well as two lounging chairs that you can take out to a private courtyard for sunning and views out towards the Beautiful Waters that encircle and bathe the island. The doors between the courtyard and the living areas of the villa may be opened to allow for refreshing Island winds and sounds of the waves below to move throughout the villa. The comfortable main living area and tastefully decorated and well equipped kitchen are connected via sliding doors to a full length covered deck that offers breathtaking views of the the scenic St. Barths landscape, the nearby and distant islands and the beach Flamands below--wonderful for walking, sunning, and swimming--take the time to hike to nearby Columbier beach. It is on the deck that you will discover comfort and joy by and day and starlit night during much of your villa holiday--enjoying the deck chairs, hammock, dining table--bon appetit!, and hot tub. Merci Beaucoup Michel et Jany! Joyeux Fetes! We look forward to our return!

Incredible honeymoon experience

First off, Michel and Jany were absolutely wonderful hosts. Michel met us right off the ferry and showed us to the villa. Everything was as pictured and even better than we could have expected. We could not get over the beautiful view all week. Location was so convenient, villa was clean and beautiful, and the kitchen even had everything you would need to make a home cooked meal if needed. We will definitely return to this amazing and special place and would recommend it for any couple looking for relaxation, privacy, and the ability to travel the island/adventures. You don’t need to think twice when booking this!

We enjoyed 10 wonderful days and all the great reviews are spot on. Whenever we had questions or needed help Michel was a quick email away. The villa has more than enough space for two people. The kitchen was well-equipped with quality items, the closet and storage space in the bedroom and bathroom was plentiful and the 110 outlets were a welcome surprise. The bed was very comfortable and A/C in the bedroom was extremely efficient. This villa checks all the right boxes for a perfect stay and we hope to return again soon!
