Maine - the way life should be
We were in the area to visit family for a week in Bremen who doesn’t have adequate sleeping space- it was a last minute booking and we lucked out! What a great house- just as pictured… clean, fully stocked with anything you could need, and close to Round pond for a nice walk to the coffee shop, ice cream window, penny candy store, the pier to see the boats, or several restaurants! It was the perfect quiet place to return back to after our family fun jam packed days. We even hosted dinner for my in-laws one night after picking up fresh fish in Damariscotta. Felt right at home with all of the kitchen supplies we needed to make an amazing baked haddock meal! The artwork around the house is incredible and due to my sleuthing I learned the homeowner is the artist… absolutely beautiful paintings throughout the house that added to its décor charm! Only complaints: we couldn’t get the tv working at all. It would have been nice to unwind at night -especially for my son, but… we managed to survive and did end up playing some of the games supplied in the living room, so maybe it wasn’t bad after all! But- It may be nice to set up instructions for the TV. Also- The washer was a bit temperamental… seemed like it would fill up with water and get stuck in the cycle… I had to play with it a bit to get it to go through the full cycle. Might be time for a new one or a check up!Overall- we enjoyed our stay at Seacreast and will definitely be back!!!
