Property was exactly as advertised and very clean and comfortable. We had a small issue with the wifi, but the host was able to get it resolved for us almost immediately.

Great Place!

This is a wonderful old house. Would have appreciated more kitchen amenities but the space was more than enough for us to stay and also entertain our godchildren. Mary Rachel is awesome! Our 2nd time here and we’ll likely be back.

Family vacation

Property was great! Loved the house so much. Communication with the owner was timely and helpful. If you're bringing young children, don't forget to pack some water shoes for the creek.

Convenient location, everything we needed

We were in town working on our old farmhouse. The location was perfect. The house was a great size and had great towels. It did have a musty odor, but not a big deal. The house had everything we needed. Host was responsive.

Great Place for large family stay

Stayed here for a few days with family. Lots of space for everyone and a large kitchen with everything you need for prepping meals. Kids enjoyed the creek amd lots of space to run outside. Only issue was quite a bit of leaky plumbing, but nothing that would stop us from staying again. Landlord was also extremely attentive with any issues. Would definately recommend kt.

Mt. City Reunions

Property was good. Had several things that needed repair and were reported to the owner. Was just what our family needed for a short stay in Mountain City. We had two family reunions to attend and the house was in a great location and had plenty of room for our family. Thanks!

House and property were well maintained and clean. Host was very responsive and helpful. Had to contact host directly for entry code. It was not sent via email through VRBO. Kitchen had basic supplies and clean. Location was easy to get to and within short driving distance of stores and town park. We had 7 adults and a child so we had to move the spare mattress in the parlor. Extra linens and towels were available, which was nice. Our stay was in June. AC worked very well downstairs but upstairs, where bedrooms are located, was warm. Tower fans were in each bedroom which helped. We opened bedroom windows to improve airflow. Wonderful yard for granddaughter to run around and play. Excellent deck. Great spot for morning coffee, evening beverage, and star gazing. Would happily stay again and highly recommend.
