Relax and get away at this beautiful 4,000 sq ft home on the top of the ridge.
Take a trip to Raystown Lake, Juniata River for fishing and floating, take in a Penn State Game (all within a short drive from the property) or stay and relax, take in the beautiful views, BBQ on the patio while the kids play on the playset.

Beautiful 4,000 sq ft of serene living space with deck overlooking the ridge. This property is secluded in a wooded area however quiet hours are between 11pm-8am as to be polite to our mountain neighbors.

Custom hickory wood flooring through out first level.

Featuring a chef's kitchen equipped with a 48" double oven with convection and griddle, 6 burners and double granite counter top/eating bar, custom Amish made hickory cabinetry through out.

Dining area with custom made 10 ft table with expandable leaves with bench on one side.

Living room has gas fireplace with custom Amish made wood mantel, 24ft ceilings, and custom Amish made railings to the loft above.

Enjoy the main level Master bedroom including a beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub and standing shower. Additional bedroom on main floor with queen size bed.

Loft area has full bath with tub and two bedrooms each with two double beds.

The lower level features a wet bar, full bathroom and three bedrooms.

The patio has multiple eating areas with Blackstone griddle for grilling purposes, a hammock and fire pit.

Yard has Ninja Warrior Play Set and swing set for children.

New Samsung washer and dryer on main level.

This was our second year coming back for our annual Friendsgiving. The house was amazing, large enough table for all to gather, kitchen was well stocked, easy to use coffee maker, clean bathrooms, clean beds, and plenty of towels for all. Thanks for opening up your home, we had an amazing time.

My spouse is a Master Craftsman, my Son in law an Architect, and they were both impressed by this home! Custom Cabinets in the kitchen! (Mormon made?) We stay in VRBO homes 2 or 3 times a year, times 15 yesrs. The men of the family felt this was the well best built home, great craftsmanship! The showers were a dream come true! Comfy beds! Welcoming for a family.

Mountain Getaway

Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit.

The day of our arrival we saw portable AC units everywhere and a sign above the thermostat stating that due to a lightning strike, the AC wasn’t working. It was 93 degrees in the kitchen and living room and one of the bedrooms had no AC unit and in two of the bedrooms, the AC was not working properly and not cooling. There were bugs in two of the bedrooms along the baseboards and in the bedding and the master bathroom shower drain was not working properly and water went all over the bathroom floor. I did see two other reviews in July of 2024 and 2025 that had complaints about no AC and the portable AC units, so apparently the AC got struck by lightning three years in a row in the same month? The house is beautiful and in a great location, however to advertise that it has AC is deceiving when it is 93 degrees in the house. We should have been told that the AC wasn’t working but when I told the owner that, he just ignored me and said call maintenance but maintenance said he can’t do anything and to contact the owner.

Extended Family Celebrating an 80th Birthday

The property is a vacation in and of itself. It’s situated in the mountains with beautiful views. Spacious interior with lots of bedrooms and very large kitchen and outdoor cooking area. We enjoyed the proximity to the lake and spent a beautiful day on a pontoon boat. The host provides clear instruction on getting to the house and check out was a breeze. We highly recommend this place and made memories we will cherish.

Beautiful house. Well stocked kitchen, loads of things i am used to supplying like trash bags, tp, paper towels. Lots of extra amenities, night lights everywhere, so convenient! Host and property manager are super responsive for a couple questions i had. Great house! Highly recommend!

Beautiful!

What an amazing stay! Not only was the house and property amazing but the host of the house was incredible! He was very helpful with my millions of questions. It fit 13 of us perfectly with room for some more! Very clean, felt like home. Beautiful view as well!

Hidden gem

This is a hidden gem. Beautiful home for a family getaway. Close to town. Huge yard and playground. All of the amenities you need and everything is brand new. Owner communication was clear and very responsive.

Peace and relaxation

Such a beautiful home with nature everywhere. Perfect for a long holiday weekend to enjoy the lake and river. Ample parking and space for the whole family. Only glitch was the AC was not working but there were portable AC units. We would definitely stay here again

My large family had a great time during our stay! The kids loved all the gaming options, and the adults enjoyed playing those early days video games we grew up with! The house was well put together, with many provided basics like toilet paper and trash bags. We enjoyed using the fire ring as well. The maintenance staff was attentive when we called with a plumbing issue, and did his best to solve other small issues that arose. The owner answered questions quickly.

Our time away…

We had a very nice time at the lodge. If it had been a few weeks earlier, I’m certain the view off the overlook would have been beautiful with the fall leaves. Overall the listing was as it showed. There were a few miscommunications but everything was resolved well.

Great Stay Despite Unforeseen Circumstances!

5 STARS - We had a wonderful stay at this home and really appreciated the owner’s responsiveness and hospitality. Just a couple days before our arrival, a lightning strike knocked out the central AC. Unfortunately, due to the holiday weekend, parts couldn’t be delivered in time for our visit.That said, the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, buying and providing multiple portable air conditioning units throughout the house, which kept things cool and pleasant. We were really impressed by how proactive and communicative they were.
