Come find your little slice of heaven in the heart of the Gallatin Valley — halfway between Belgrade and Manhattan, Montana, and a world away from the everyday.


Our cozy one-room cabin sleeps up to three and sits on a working micro ranch where Waylon and Willie (our two goats) may wander by for a hello, along with a horse or two. It's rustic, it's real, and it's really comfortable.


We're pet friendly — good manners required, tail wags encouraged.


Inside, you'll find a mini fridge, microwave, and a Keurig ready to go. Step outside to a porch swing and a fire pit perfectly positioned under nature's own planetarium. The detached bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink is just steps from the door.


It's not fancy. It is absolutely wonderful.


When you're ready to explore — the Gallatin River is 5 minutes away with fishing access, hiking trails are around every corner, and Bozeman is just 20 minutes out. The airport is 10 minutes, Bridger Bowl is 35, and Big Sky is about an hour.


We live on the property and we genuinely love what we do. We can't wait to welcome you and show you why Montana is still the last, best place.

We absolutely Loved this property! It gave us a true Montana ranch experience. The cabin is perfectly appointed and the host thought of every detail to make the stay enjoyable. The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating. It was a great stay!

Peaceful stay

Great little place! My son loved the animals on the property! And the view of the Bridgers was breathtaking. Niccole and Jay were super helpful with the few questions we had dusting our stay. Will definitely stay again!

This place was cute! It’s exactly what it claims to be, a small cabin off the beaten path on the family’s property. While the porta potty wasn’t ideal, it was well worth it for the serene experience compared to a hotel!

The cabin was so cozy and welcoming and the location was so gorgeous! I spent mornings working remotely sitting outside with a view of the Bridger range and the horses trotting around. Spent afternoons exploring Hyalite Canyon, the Bridgers, and made a day trip to Yellowstone! Niccole was super responsive and helpful. Absolutely loved my stay here!

Wonderful little cabin!

I loved this stay! The cabin was perfect for me and had everything I needed. The property is beautiful with stunning views. I also very much enjoyed the horses and goats!

It doesn't get any better than this for a cost effective stay in a dry cabin. The views are the kind that pictures lack the levity to convey the awe it inspires. The hosts are amazing people who provide a clean and cozy environment for your stay. I would rather stay here than any type of hotel the area offers. I look forward to my next stay.

Budget-Friendly Beauty

We enjoyed our stay for a few nights while in town for a celebration. Comfy beds, cool decor, and a nice place to rest our heads after jam-packed adventures all day. If you read the property's description there will be no surprises :-)

This cabin is so super cute. I loved staying here! Yes, there's a porta-potty, but not really a big deal. And, there's a cool outdoor shower. Embrace rustic cabin life for few days, roast marshmallows at sunset.

Great Location

Centrally located and totally unique stay.Not for everyone but I would stay again if I come back to bozeman. For sure rent a car if you stay here and are from out of town.

If you're looking for a peacefull place to relax and save money, this is your place. Great sunsets, nice hosts, cute goats and cats. Close enough but far enough away.

Week Getaway

We had the perfect family vacation only made better by Niccole and Jay! The hospitality and friendliness made this trip one we will remember! We loved this place so much that we will absolutely be back! We were able to make breakfast and dinner over the fire and enjoy our meals outside with a Mountain View every day. This is the perfect place to escape the hustle of everyday life.

Listing it as a half-bath threw me. There's only a porta potty outside 100 ft away and an outside cold shower. The solar is not effective for heating the water. We really needed some type of bowl to put water in inside the cabin. The cabin was very clean and the outside lawn and premise were very well maintained, so some of this is maybe a communication problem in the description.

The Good, The Bad, and downright ugly!The cabin is in a great location, well built, cute and well appointed. The reviews were fun so we booked it, however the reviews of the owners was not our experience and when we asked about anything were handled with frustration as we were continually told to "refer to the description", which wasn't the issue, it was the communication between the absent host (it happens as they too have a schedule) who we never met although we had a 4 night booking and they messaged things for months in advance, such as the toilet and internet, then upon arrival they not only didn't exist, it was difficult at best to just get an answer or ask the question. It was sadly a clear breakdown and we were happy to just leave early and work it out with VRBO, who's representative was excellent. This was disappointing as this could have been a hoot as it did have many fun features and it ended up very awkward instead.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Oh my gosh, this was a great find. You’re an hour from Yellowstone, and your cabin has privacy with a beautiful unobstructed view of the mountains in the distance. We met the hosts, Jay and Nicole, who were a blast, but never bothered us. That’s the good news. The bad news really isn’t bad, it’s more “funny”. The cabin itself has no running water (or sink), though there is running water available at the nearby “solar” shower. So, that was no problem. Neither was the toilet, for me, which was outside the cabin. The boss (my wife of many decades) had to walk about 50 feet to an outside porta-potty. And that’s what made this stay so fun and complete. She had so much fun calling her girlfriends, after a few glasses of wine, about how she had to suffer using a porta-potty. We’ll never forget the fun we had spending two nights spent in that beautiful, isolated one room cabin in Montana.

When I booked, I am always weary about the actual listing. This was not the case because I was able to communicate effectively every time I had a question. This was by far better than any standard hotel. It felt comfortable, it was enjoyable, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Extra bonus, the farm animals were great! We will definitely consider coming here again when we travel to Montana. They hosts are great people and very friendly.

Great location, easy to communicate with the host, clean and lots of lovely animals all around. The newer bathroom about 40 feet from the door was very cute. Having the option for an indoor shower was great.
