The Crow's Nest in Old Town

From the creak of the front door opening to the feel of the cool tile floors on our bare feet to the peaceful morning coffee out by the pool, we are reminded of why we were drawn here in the first place from Austin. We love our little spot on Gulf Street. We hope you will too.

THE SPACE:
This is set up as a 3-bedroom, 2-bath with an office and futon that can be converted into a fourth bedroom if needed. The master bedroom has an ensuite bath and a king bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a king bed, and it shares a bathroom with the 3rd bedroom which has a queen bed. The kitchen is equipped with quality knives, All-Clad pans, a Kitchen-Aid mixer and a Cuisinart food processor, a gas stove and oven, and a microwave. And, yes, there's a blender, a coffee grinder, coffee maker and coffee. Not only this, but an ice cream maker, a deep fryer, and pasta roller just in case you want to get adventurous. There's also a wide array of spices to choose from to get you going.

Each bathroom should have nearly everything you need: Towels, soaps, essentials, hair dryer, even make-up wipes. In the master bathroom, you have a large shower. If you prefer a bath, go for the Jacuzzi Bathtub in the guest bath.

Last, but not at all least, we love the pool area as much as the rest of the house. It is heated, so it is comfortable swimming year around. We also have an outdoor seating area, picnic table, and a Big Green Egg. Note it is a semi-private pool. We share it with our guests, but the only other people using the pool will be us, so most of the time you'll have it to yourself.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have access to the entire house, driveway, parking under the house if your car is short enough, pool, etc...you name it. Our home is your home. Further, if you need garage storage for a vehicle, boat or anything else, we do have two garages on the property, so we can discuss that on a case-by-case basis.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
It is a very family friendly environment. Long story short, we're happy to interact with you as much or as little as you like while you're visiting. Will respect your privacy if you prefer to keep to yourself, but we're also happy to share a drink or a burger if you so choose.

HOUSE CLEANING:
Monthly rental includes a full house cleaning every two weeks. We have house cleaners who come to clean our home twice monthly, so since they are nearby already, we include this service in the cost of the rent. The only thing you need to worry about is tidying/consolidating your things a little bit before they arrive, so they have easy access to countertops, floors, etc. to do the best job possible.
