Charming newly renovated cottage exuding warmth and comfort,boasting a delightful wrap-around covered porch adorned with patio furniture,rocking chairs,picnic table,and a charcoal grill,ideal for all weather enjoyment.The cozy sleeping loft features a full-size bed,while the main bedroom downstairs offers a queen-size bed and a spacious closet.Amenities include a washer,dryer,dishwasher,WiFi,and a SmartTV for streaming.Accommodating up to 5 guests,with sleeping space for four and a convenient cot for a fifth person.Located just 5 miles from Nolin Lake State Park and its scenic beach and hiking trails,10 minutes from Blue Holler Mud Rides and ATV trails,and a short 30-minute drive from both Mammoth Cave and Beech Bend Amusement Park.The neighborhood provides a community boat ramp,with additional parking available on-site for boats or trailers.While the cabin is not waterfront,it is in close proximity to the lake.Enjoy evenings around the fire pit in the serene wooded surroundings.

The overall experience was great. It was a comfortable and quiet place to spend time with family. Very clean with all the covenants of home. The cooking utensils could be updated. Had a terrific time with my family!

Wonderful cabin to stay in, very clean with all the amenities, plus the area was nice and quiet. Lots of wildlife, we saw a variety of birds, geko, deer, and a huge owl that flew out of the tree. Owners Jamie and Nicki were responsive to our questions, and helpful to us planning the trip. The Ferry was running while we were there and that cut down our drive significantly for the activities in the area. We loved the location, lots of things to do in the area. We will definitely book again with The Robin’s Nest!

We had the absolute best time in Kentucky! This house is adorable. The only thing I was surprised to find was that there is one queen bed in the master bedroom and only one small full-size bed upstairs. I don’t know if the pictures on the listing confused me, but I thought there were more beds. We made it work and had a great time! The kitchen was awesome, included everything we needed to be able to cook what we wanted. The fire pit was great and came with two marshmallow roasting sticks! Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. Would recommend!!!

The house was nice and private and not too far from Mammoth Cave. We enjoyed the large porch. The listing advertised WiFi, however, we were without WiFi for the entire duration of our stay. The owner was responsive, but failed to resolve the issue and provided solutions that did not work nor were feasible with us being at the park the whole day. Note that there is little to no reception, so having no WiFi and no reception made it impossible to put in directions or make calls. I’ve managed vacation rentals myself, and most places these days have a router connected to a mobile device where the owner can resolve the issue. We would have appreciated someone stopping by as well to try and troubleshoot. There was also an exterior camera that was constantly recording which made us feel that there was limited privacy and could have been turned off after we arrived. The overall rating reflects the above comments…

Mammoth Cave Family Trip

Overall enjoyed our stay at Robin’s Nest. Peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring! The place was spacious for a family of four. Would stay there again if ever in Mammoth Cave, KY area again.

The cabin is tucked into a quiet neighborhood. It was peaceful in the evening and has a nice firepit for evening fires. The cabin was comfortable for four adults with indoor and outdoor seating. The cabin is about a 40 minute drive to the visitors center at Mammoth Cave National Park.
