I highly recommend the Lodge at Schroon Lake. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Communication from the host and staff was easy and supportive. Everything really was as described. The indoor pool was a little chilly, but the pool and hot tub were also very clean and the area was beautiful. We ate breakfasts at the Brown Swan restaurant; the food was very good and reasonably priced. There is something to do for every age group. We enjoyed the fire pits in the evenings and thought the little s'mores kits were a fantastic surprise! The beach is not large, the water is shallow a long way out so, it was perfect for the kids to play at. The patio at the beach was clean and well maintained; a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the lake. The entire grounds are beautiful, and perfect for walks. It was amazing to have access to everything included in the price of your stay.
