Don’t rent

Don’t rent. Some animal trapped in walls. Not a three bedroom. No closets in two of the so-called bedrooms, rusty not working water drain, pool motor broke, crusty neighborhood, loud train running through, dryer screeching, Lovely backyard and kitchen. Find something else

Not for everyone!

I stayed at this house for two weeks in February 2017 with a golfing buddy. We were put off by a number of things: the noise of freight trains from the nearby railroad was enough to wake us up repeatedly, as often as 4 or 5 times a night. The engineers are required to sound their horns at crossings, so each passing train became an event. Also, the house is cramped--there is no real living area, and so no place for even two people to sit and watch TV in comfort. The master bedroom is very nice, but the second bedroom. Is very small, and there was no room even for a chair, and no place to put one's clothes. Likewise, the second bathroom is very small. Perhaps the layout would work for a couple, or a couple with a small child, but no more than that. The lighting was inadequate in the kitchen and dining area, and we had to buy such essentials as spoons and kitchen toweling. The neighborhood is one short step above "seedy," although conveniently located to many gas stations. That said, we did not feel unsafe, there was easy parking on the street (no driveway or garage), and the house was clean. We would not rent this property again, and we left feeling that we could have, and should have, gotten more for our money.

Ein sehr schönes und ausreichend großes Ferienhaus. Mit sehr gemütlicher Terrasse.

Wir haben mit 5 Personen (Alter zwischen 22-52 Jahren) einen sehr schönen Urlaub in dem Haus verbracht. Das Haus hat eine super Ausstattung und ist sehr gepflegt. Das Highlight ist mit Abstand der geniale Smoker (Grill) und die sehr gemütliche Terrasse mit Pool und schöner Beleuchtung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können es auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

This was a very enjoyable home, we were delighted with the beautiful backyard very relaxing and it had a pool too. We really had fun lounging and using the barbecue. We were able to walk to town for a delightful lunch sitting outside enjoying the weather. The beach was just a short ride away. Will be back again and recommended it to some friends.

Great Outdoor Space

My daughter and I rented this house for the outdoor space and we were not disappointed. Any couple who stayed here would love the master bedroom, bathroom and patio outside the bedroom door. While the house is located in a "crusty" area of Lake Worth, the inside of the hosue is full of character. The house works well with two people but would be crowded with more than that. The main bathroom will not accommodate anyone who is large or older, as the toilet is only about four inches from the sink. The interior of the house could stand to be painted and the house has an ant infestation, evidenced by the many ant traps around the house. We lost about $25 worth of food because ants got into it (much of it not even opened yet).

Great place

We really enjoyed this property. The best part was the backyard oasis with the pool. It was enclosed from the street and we felt like we were in our own paradise. There were lounge chairs and a big barbecue. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and a few miles to the beach which was amazing. Would definitely return to this property.

AS GOOD AS IT GETS

This is the best property I've rented over my first 3 years of doing this. The house was immaculate. The furnishings were both tasteful and comforting. My family felt at home from the minute we walked through the front door. Even the pre-arrival instructions were simple, clear and, oh yes, allowed us entry with no questions or problems. The location is terrific. The house is within walking distance to alive and vibrant downtown Lake Worth. Restaurants as plentiful within walking distance. The backyard is an oasis with comfortable chairs, a small pool and a marvelous fountain that tended to calm those sitting outside. In the vernacular of sports, the house "plays" bigger than its 1300+ square feet. While the age of the house may be discouraging to some, don't let it be. You actually enjoy its room sizes and floor layout. The waterbed in the master bedroom is as comfortable as any bed on which I have slept. The best feature of the home is its ownership. The owners couldn't do enough for us. They checked in to see how we were doing and to make sure we were having a good time. There is a gentleman across the street who was most responsive to minor repairs that needed to be made during our stay (no home is perfect you know). Finally, the owners, Fred and Alicia are the most marvelous people. During the last week of our stay, I had an emergency operation. My surgeon's requirements meant we would be in the Lake Worth Florida past the expiration of the lease. Knowing that their house was booked the following week and probably anticipating some transition time between us leaving and the new guests arriving, Fred and Alicia, with no hesitation, allowed us to stay as long as they could. They were just superior. Wrapping up, you will not find a house with a combination of great location, marvelous floor plan, comfortable neighbors and outstanding owners. My advice - rent this property!

Place has it all!

I recently stayed at "Bienvenido a Casa" (Casa) while in the area to catch some spring training games with my daughter in Port Saint Lucie. My wife and I also wanted to check out Lake Worth. We were not disappointed--on all fronts! Casa had all the amenities needed to chill out for a few days. We really enjoyed the back yard with swimming pool, lounge chairs, barbecue grille and string lights. And the sun, of course! The kitchen was clean and equipped with everything you need. It was also very comfortable to cook in. The whole house was comfortable and super clean. The location made it easy to walk to dinner a couple nights. We enjoyed great dinners at Suri Tapas Bar and Brogues in downtown Lake Worth. Bennies at Lake Worth Beach was fantastic. And as a bonus we said hello to one of the most exciting young pitchers in baseball (and NYMet!), Noah "Thor" Sindergaard who was having lunch at Bennies. He was nice enough to autograph a hat for my daughter. That autograph alone was worth the price of admission, as they say, to stay at Casa. I highly recommend it!

SUPER LOCATION

The was so Charming and its close to beach (bicycles included) you can walk to stores and restaurants. It has a great barbecues in the enclosed patio area along with a pool with pretty flowers and shrubs. Huge master bedroom leading to patio. Its such a warm and romantic place.

Built in 1925, you can feel the Old Florida Charm throughout this very cool house! PLUS it's a perfect location in Lake Worth, mid-Palm Beach County, close to beaches, fishing, airport, great downtown restaurants and nightlife in Lake Worth, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach AND Delray Beach! For staying in, there's a perfect dunking pool on your completely private patio along with outside grills for barbecues!! Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy all that South Florida has to offer!!!

Relax and Enjoy the Tropics. I did!

This place has everything! It's a pretty Spanish-style, in-town get-away in Lake Worth, the diverse, artistic capitol of Palm Beach County. My favorite part of the house is the spa-sized pool surrounded by mature, beautiful plantings in the private patio/courtyard off the master bedroom. Romantic??!!? Can be. The kids loved it too. When I stay here, I can walk to the public golf-club and bustling down town area. Both are 6 blocks away. I can walk the 1/2 mile to the town beach and casino. All the rooms in this lovely house are bright and well furnished. It sits directly on the sidewalk, Old South Florida cottage style. I love this place and I know you will too.
