Unparalleled views and sounds of rolling waves! Feel like you are IN the view! Step into this mid-century inspired dream home built by renowned architect J. Carson Bowler, famous for windows that recall those on a ship's bridge. This iconic tri-level design features two bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen) two bathrooms, a galley-like kitchen, living room with fireplace, queen sofa bed and daybed to relax and enjoy the views. This location is on a cliff and you can access the beach from Duncan's landing or drive one minute north to Wright's beach. Come to the spot where waves meet whimsey!

Guests will experience a luxurious, spa-like stay with robes, slippers, and shampoo, conditioner and other amenities.

Extra-person charges may apply and vary depending on property policy.
Onsite parties or group events are strictly prohibited.

We had an amazing experience from booking through our entire stay. The host is terrific and communicates right away. The home and the views are breathtaking. Very dog friendly. We slept so good listening to the ocean right below us. We only left the house to go for walks we were so cozy and comfortable, we were there 4 days. We made delicious meals, played games and just sat in such peace and serenity looking out the many windows for hours to the ocean below. We cannot wait to return, this place will nourish your soul.

July summer stay

This was our second time at the Cliff House and we had a wonderful time. We love this property because we can just unwind at the house or take multiple walks on the beach throughout the day. Our dogs love the property as well. The house has all the kitchen utensils you could possibly need for any cooking you want to do. We will definitely be back to the property.

Amazing Beach House

This was by far the most amazing beach home we've ever stayed in! The ocean views are spectacular. Interior is all wood and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen, comfortable beds and lovely linens. Easy walk to beach. Sherri is a wonderful host. We hope to return again.

Incredible property with views from every level. House was extremely comfortable and clean. Fenced yard was great for our dogs. Loved the vintage touches in keeping with the character of the house.

Cliff House

The Cliff House is beautiful and the location was perfect for an extended weekend stay. There is close access to a very quiet beach that we loved and restaurants were only about a 15 min drive away. The views are truly breathtaking and it was wonderful waking up to the views and ocean sound. We will definitely be back. The extra perk is that the house is dog friendly!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Truly spectacular property. We had a lovely weekend stay at The Cliff House. The location and views are as advertised. Property is beautifully furnished and well stocked with anything you need for weekend beach getaway. There’s easy access to a lovely uncrowded beach just down road and Bodega Bay’s shops and restaurants are quick drive away. The Property owner was responsive and very helpful.

My partner and I were looking for a dog friendly weekend getaway in Northern California, and this charming home overlooking the Pacific Ocean did not disappoint. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - and we especially loved the assortment of games available for a cozy night in. The house is walking distance to the beach it overlooks, and my dog loved all the sights and smells. The decor is adorable with bright colors and mid century modern flair. Just a note that restaurants and markets are all at least 20 min away, so definitely be prepared for your food options.We'd definitely stay again. If a quiet getaway with sounds of the ocean is what you're looking for - this is the perfect place.

Views for days

Stating that this house is breathtaking is an understatement, pictures will never be able to adequately showcase how stunning the views are and how gorgeously unique the house is. We wish we had more time to spend at the house to enjoy it and the ocean scenery and sound. The hostess Sherri was also fantastic. She was very fast to respond to messages and provided great restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend staying here, you will simply be missing out if you don’t!

Breathtaking Views!

The Cliff house is a precious gem. We truly enjoyed our time here in this architectural masterpiece. We had terrible weather but the panoramic views and fireplace created the perfect place for making soup and playing board Sherri is a fantastic host and is very diligent to any needs we had. She is currently working on the home, so any quitks were or willbefixed soon. There is plentycookware and bakeware. You will need to bring your own spices. There is abounty of towels and pillows provided. Everything is very stylish, we enjoyed the use of binoculars that were there for the view! There is a wet bar...if you bring your supplies. That's fun. Our family really enjoyed our stay. ofgames.

Special place with breathtaking views

If you dream about waking up and going to sleep with pristine views of the beach and the sound of crashing waves, this is THE PLACE. Stunning property with huge windows on both floors overlooking a beautiful beach and rocky outcroppings on the Sonoma coast. The house itself is really cool - vintage 70s design and decor with lots of wood but not old in its amenities at all. New windows give spectacular views but minimal noise - you'll sleep like a baby on this quiet street, perched above the beach. It's an easy 2 minute walk to the beach access down the cliff or you can drive 1/2 a mile and pay 10 to park and walk right onto the beach (perfect for those seniors with a bit less mobility). We loved the retro appliances and the Smart TV's (Vizio) which had every app under the sun and was easy to use. We had our dog with us and she loved being at the beach every day and the street just outside was perfect for her pee and poop breaks. There's even a small fenced in patch off the kitchen for those late "let the dog out before bed" moments. I hope to return to this special place again - we had a very memorable week and the house was a huge part of that. Thank you for sharing this property with us!

House was so charming and cool!Views were amazing! Everything you need for this trip is on site at the house...linens, fully loaded kitchen ( utensils, pots, pans, glasees , cutlery) , soaps , towels , coffee , beach chairs and umbrella, 3 tvs all with streaming capabilities built in, wifi, working fireplace, pillows, blankets, and everything else we needed that we usually forget! Sherri was very nice, very responsive, and caring ( great touch )The views and location are the biggest pay off!Super quiet mellow neighborhood ! Highly recommended

this house has a spectacular reveal as soon as you open the door. the unobstructed views of the ocean are breathtaking. in addition to the vast blue view you'll be surrounded by gorgeous succulents, blooms, hummingbirds, birdsong, sunlight, and the lull of the surf. i sleep better when i can hear the ocean. enchanting! and the host is great!

Beyond beautiful view! Just breath taking. Full amenities. Easy access. Good parking. Incredible home. Fun decor. Well maintained. Tons of quality towels, robes, blankets, soaps etc. The walk to the beach was a little more than we had hoped and was nerve racking with kids as it hugs Hwy 1 for part of it. The beach itself is beautiful and fun to explore. There are also a ton of other beaches with in a few minutes drive of the house. We hope to stay again someday.
