Dirty upon arrival

So we showed up to a condo that had not been cleaned. Beds were stripped and dishwasher going as directed in checkout steps. I contacted both the local contact left a voicemail and the owners. Owner responded briskly and informed that I would not be charged a cleaning fee and the cleaner did come and “clean” the unit. We were unable to fully check in till about 9. We went on to enjoy our stay the bedroom with the on-suite is a King bed which was a pleasant surprise. The sofa in the living room also is a pull out couch this wasn’t on the description as well mentioning to help when someone else when booking. Our only issue was at Checkin I though would be resolved, I did try to solve this issue with owner now they wont respond with VRBO you pay the cleaning fee upfront. So if booking this I would come with linens and be prepared to clean prior to moving in.

Adequate but dirty

Unit much smaller than what it appears in photos and description but it was cozy. Blue chairs are not comfortable so we used the table chairs. Our issue was sheets were covered in body hair, local host got defensive and claimed she was there to see them going in dryer but maybe it was an overstuffed dryer and washer as it didn’t remove any hair. Toilets in both bathroom had poo splatter as if a diarrhea event happened on the stay prior to us. Dishes had dried dishwasher pod crystals all over them and a half dissolved pod left in the dishwasher. Trash was found in cabinets with pots and pans. Fireplace is electric and loud. Master bath sink has very slow drain, Floor was not swept and mopped. It’s a lower end unit in the basement with full time occupied unit above with toddlers that keep going till midnight. That didn’t bother us as bad as having to clean the entire place before enjoying it. Complex was nice but if you leave take the prox card so you can get back in without waiting for the check in line to move. You’ll figure this out if you rent the unit or stay in another unit. Easy access to everything and is pet friendly. All easy fixes.

Nice and peaceful

It was a cute little apartment with games in case it's raining. It had a back porch closed off which would be nice if you had extra person or child to sleep (extra bed). It backed to a golf course and had a stream going through the back yard. Very peaceful
