The house was a fabulous home base for our group allowing us to visit the Algarve region. The pool and backyard was a great place to relax after touring around and the view from the second floor balcony was stunning. The kitchen was fully equipped and allowed us to make meals and snacks and the dishwasher came in handy for our large crowd. We would stay here again.

This is an impressive property in so many ways. Prime location with amazing sea views that can be enjoyed from the stylish upper balcony; spacious, well-planned layout with ample sitting and dining areas. The kitchen is a particular plus, very well equipped and easy to use. The outdoor life is well provided for, with a lovely pool (even a good selection of pool inflatables!), ample loungers and seating, a barbecue. Everything has been well thought and also well presented with spotless rooms and pool area. The host was helpful and businesslike, the information provided on the house and town was very full and most useful. Our family week here was a huge success and the house played a very significant part in that.

The place was well stocked, clean, and the host and management company were very helpful with any questions we had. The pool was very warm for the kids and family. Location is perfect - 20 min walk from the sea, and close to amenities as well. Overall we had a lovely holiday and we hope to come back someday.

We (8 adults 3 children)spent a week in the villa and enjoyed every moment while there. The villas location was perfect. We could walk to a beautiful beach, restaurants, cafes and small food shops. We were short drive to many beautiful tourist attractions. The house had everything you would need. The kitchen was well supplied, there were plenty of games and pool toys. The pool was a big hit with everyone. We had a few minor problems that were resolved very quickly. Richard was quick to respond to answer questions or give suggestions. It was a perfect villa for an enjoyable fun family vacation

This property a fantastic and very well equipped and spotless in arrival. Never seen a better equipped kitchen in a remtal. Only not marked as fantastic as we asked for pool heating and it was only done on Day 3. A full refund was kindly given but did mean we didn't really use the pool first 2 days.

Fabulous villa. The owners were very helpful throughout and helped us with options for some excursions / events which were amazing. Highlight of our holiday was definitely a trip to Joao Clara vineyard and then highest point in the Algarve followed by lunch with driver Jorge from Personal Transfers that the Villa owners helped organise for us. Highly recommended!!! The villa is private, has stunning views and the interior is lovely with everything anyone could need. The pool and outside area are marvellous with plenty sunbeds and a great outside eating area including BBQ. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer!! We had the best holiday and hope to return here to Praia de Luz and this super villa! Thanks Richard & Karen.

We had a great family stay in this villa. Is it exactly as described and really clean. We even organised a shopping delivery on arrival which was a life saver with 3 kids after a long trip.Communication was quick. One of the tiles was cracked when we arrived, and they came out and fixed it ASAP. The villa is a short walk to the main strip. It was a little harder for the kids on a hot day and sometimes we got a taxi back up the hill for little euros. We paid for the heated pool which we feel was needed with young kids. The pool cover was very easy to use.The garage was full of extra toys, inflatables for the pool etc which was a great addition. The kitchen was fab. The rooms all perfect!We never wanted to leave the villa!!!Thank you Richard!!

The property was excellent for what we were looking for. It was a large family gathering so it had enough of everything for that. The place is dated but saying that it was comfortable. The location was good in order to walk into town for dinner. Overall a fun time.

Familyholiday in Luz

Villa Laranja was a optimal place for our familyholiday with 15 persons. There is enough room to be together, to enjoy the pool and to cook in kitchen. The location is very good, peacefull but in the walking distance from the sea.

Superb vacation!

It was a terrific stay - wonderful opportunity for a 3-generation family vacation to break out of COVID. The house was beautifully appointed and luxurious.. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and large and the pool was a highlight for family volleyball.

We are the Athill family. Villa Laranja is our only holiday rental property and it is a labour of love. We have had many family holidays with large groups of friends so we have tried to create an environment that considers all of the experiences we have had on our previous holidays. We've tried to add all of the little touches that make a group holiday just that little bit more special. We hope you enjoy staying at our beautiful villa.
