This guesthouse located in the beautiful & historic Tamworth/Chocorua New Hampshire. As one of 'The Cottages on Page Hill' this house has many special areas to just relax & enjoy nature and the peacefulness this area of the world has to offer! Travel inspired & colorful! You will love both the front and back patios one with a grill & gazebo for outdoor dining in any weather & nicely lit at night & the other with a great porch and fire pit area. The outdoor shower off the porch is just AMAZING!
The space
Stunning mountain views on the way welcome you to the Carriage House. **follow our directions if coming up (heading north) on rt 95 to rt 16 White Mtn Hwy**

Walking distance to the 'Pub on Page' wedding venue/bar & restaurant (under a 1/4 mile) and 1 mile to weekly famers market!

A comfortable and relaxing getaway, with lakes, rivers & mountains at your doorstep and only 1 hour to the Atlantic coast! About 2 from Boston. Under 3 hours to the Canadian Border! 30 minutes to North Conway.

The house is ideal for 2-4 adults. The house is just 600 sq ft. It consists of a re-constructed hand-hewn post & beam timber frame with many other reclaimed elements including natural pine walls, recycled cabinets, farm sink, and small set of spiral stairs that lead to the second floor.

The up-cycled elements and colorful worldly décor make for a quirky & fun space! Newly updated with comfortable & clean modern elements. With amazing walk-in indoor & outdoor showers, private outdoor dining area under a gazebo that is surrounded with privacy fencing and trees.

* We ONLY supply linens for the futon couch when requested. If more than two people are coming we can make up the futon bed before your arrival or we can leave the linens so you can use it as a couch during the day. If you require 2 beds for 2 people please let us know at the time of booking so we can make sure you are all comfortable :)

* Please note some furnishings and décor may be different than in pictures as we always make changes as needed...and don't always have time for new images. Though everything we list as in bed sizes and amenities remain the same.

Other things to note
- The Carriage House is a small, but spacious guesthouse that offers two separate rooms for sleeping. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and is accessed by means of the interior compact spiral staircase. The first level bed (futon) doubles as the living room couch.

- The compact architectural features that make this house unique also make this house not suitable for children of ages that require supervision ( 12 and under).

- Other guest units are within close proximity. Guests planning stays with potentially disruptive activities, should contact the Host with their plans prior to booking.

* We only supply linens for the futon couch (downstairs) when requested. The queen bed will be made up. If you require other sleeping arrangements let us know at booking. Thank you.

** Please be aware that we do not supply 'beach towels' or 'face clothes' & would like all the towels we provide to stay on premises.
In case these are items you need please bring with.

*Due to the climate here in northern New England we are not equipped with air conditioning...we do not seem to need it. We find other ways to keep the house as cool as possible. And there are many fun ways to chill out in the outdoor shower, lakes & rivers before the cooler evening mountain air comes back thru the windows :) So if AC is something you require you should consider this before booking.

* The cell phone service is intermittent here at the house and not always reliable. WiFi calling works.
