This 1910 classic Maine cottage is in the exclusive Hersey Retreat area of Sandy Point and has gorgeous views from most rooms. Carefully remodeled with thoughtful touches throughout, guests are certain to fall in love with this wonderful home! On the main floor, there is a fully stocked kitchen, quaint dining room with direct access to the patio, and cozy living room with large windows and propane fireplace. Additionally, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and patio access off the living room, and off the kitchen there is a full bath with laundry/tub/shower and another bedroom with a full XL bed. A small set of stairs leads up to a spacious beautiful tower bedroom with a queen bed and a separate small half bath. The entire lower level of this home contains a separate guest quarters with a large living room, kitchenette, full bath (shower), and bedroom with twin beds. The couch in the living room is large and could also be used as a sleeping space. Please note that these guest quarters are inaccessible from the main house and have their own entrance. The entire house is heated and cooled with a propane hot air furnace and three heat pumps. The outside of Sandy Point cottage features a wonderful patio area with a fire pit, and lots of stonework. There are sturdy wooden steps down to the sandy beach with a couple of platforms to sit and take in the view. The sunrises and moon rises are simply spectacular! You will also enjoy plenty of parking with the U-shaped driveway and an additional parking lot across the street.
