We had a very good stay in Barbados at the Crow's Nest. The property manager, Gillian, and the housekeeper Cecily were very friendly and helpful. The Crow's Nest has a well appointed kitchen and we made full use of it, as we like to cook. The pool was lovely, and the view of the ocean was fantastic. The house itself is very nice, and there were lots of helpful books and magazines. We actually were there during Hurricane Beryl, which luckily missed the island by 80 miles. Nevertheless, Gillian and Cecily made sure that the windows got boarded up prior to the storm, so we were safe.
The one advice that I would give travelers is to bring your own shampoo and conditioner as that was not supplied. Additionally, if you plan to cook, you should plan to buy some of the essentials right away - coffee, tea, sugar, oil, salt etc.
