This is a cozy little cabin perfect for enjoying a little relaxation, one room cabin with separate shower house just 30 ft from cabin. Also great as an overflow if you have rented Cabin 3 or Cabin 5. Sleeps 4 guests with a queen bed in a loft and a pull out bed on the ground level.

Cozy little cabin close to Hocking Hills. Quiet and peaceful area. We loved our stay and had a great weekend. Check in was easy and everything was as described.

Host was very responsive! Refrigerator didn't keep anything cold, also no microwave to heat up anything I brought anyways. I get the cabin is supposed to be for overflow on cabin 3 or 5, but for 440 for 3 nights, making food would have been nice for those renting separately from the other cabins. I get walking down the hill to the bathroom, but I assumed it would have had those basic amenities since it had cable and air. Very comfortable bed in the loft and the couch was very nice. I didnt use the pull out bed, so I can speak on that. Very peaceful are area. No phone service off wifi, have you directions screenshot beforehand. Watch for very tiny ticks, you will be deep in the woods.

Thank you for your feedback, as we are always trying to improve. I will have the refrigerator checked asap. The cabin is listed as a "sleeper" cabin and does have a grill but your recommendation for a microwave is being considered. I'm glad you found everything comfortable and peaceful!

The cabin was well heated, as was the bathroom. Both were very clean and accommodating. Codes worked which made getting in and out easy. The tv did not work though and there was no dvd player which was listed as being there in the email I received.

Fun for Shorter Adventures

The location was gorgeous and it was a fun adventure to stay in a tiny house shed conversation. We wish we would have had a better grasp of how far the bathhouse was from the cabin. It was not hundreds of feet away but as an individual with UC, this can present a challenge. Also not certain if there was a quick turn around for our arrival, but had to clean a bit when we arrived. There was gum stuck to the floor in the loft, items had been left in the fridge, and garbage had not been taken out. We would go again though for a short trip.

Very small

I would not stay again. Had to crawl to the bed, which was very uncomfortable. Couldn’t sit up in bed without hitting head on ceiling. Had to duck to enter the building. I would definitely not go se the Keurig coffee maker. Who knows how old that water was it had brown stuff floating in it.

Hello Trisha, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. As for the bedding situation, you could have contacted us regarding your concerns and we could have told you that the couch on the ground level is a hide-a-bed ( fold out couch ). And the Keurig you are referring to is brand new, just put out last week.

Property was a renovated shed that could not retain heat (had to leave early because of how cold it was). The floor of the bathroom was covered in dead bugs. I counted over 30, some were cockroaches. Couldn’t use the mattress as the loft was way to small a space to even crawl into.

This little cabin was the perfect size for my little family of 3 (you could comfortably fit 2 adults and 2 smaller children). It had all the necessary accommodation's for a comfortable, worry free vacation. I was in awe the entire drive once we got off the highway; it was up in the Appalachian Foothills/Hocking Hills, right on the edge of hocking river, it was breathtaking. The cabins had complete privacy and while every cabin was occupied, we hardly ever heard a sound. The host was very responsive. I would highly recommend this for anyone, it will be a memorable trip, even if you never leave the cabin. The nice part was, you felt like you were a 1,000 miles out from a store, but they had a 24 hour store 3 miles up the road - Hocking Hills state park was like 20 minutes away. I can't wait to go back. The only thing I suggest is if you're arriving later in the day/night, pull into the drive so you can read the sign - it just so happens to be on a sketchy corner and the signs are easy to miss. If you're not familiar with the curvy, narrow roads like me, it's hard to pay attention to the signs.
