Nestled at the base of a mountain & privately surrounded by nature. Close to Jim Thorpe, Whitewater rafting, Skirmish, Appalachian Trail, Hawk Mountain, Penns Peak, the Poconos, wine trails, antique shopping and so much more.

A short drive to Knobles Amusement Park, Dorney Park, Steel Stacks, art centers, mini golf, and kayaking/fishing at the Owl Creek Reservoir.

This 3 bedroom home that sleeps 6 gives you an opportunity to unwind, explore historic sites and enjoy fine dining and entertainment. Fully equipped with full kitchen, washer/dryer. A pellet stove creating cozy ambiance on cool evenings. A front and back deck, and a screened pergola and fire pit.

Quiet location off the main street. Able to cook all our meals with the provided kitchenware and outdoor grill. Great communication and easy to check in.

This was our second stay in this home. The property is a beautiful wooded landscape. The home is well equipped, clean, and worked out perfectly for our family’s Christmas gathering. The host communicates efficiently and checked in with us regarding an impending storm. Another great stay overall.

The home is located on a beautiful woodland property, private, cozy, quiet, and very clean. It was conveniently located for visiting family in Tamaqua. We booked our second visit for Christmas.

Everything about our visit was fantastic and the host was great with her communication and just a very unique place to stay for a getaway weekend. Very private and in the middle of the woods but fairly easy to find. We are definitely coming back and staying here again.

Found home to be exactly as described - cozy and very clean! Kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of games to enjoy. Stayed here while visiting Jim Thorpe. Enjoyed playing horseshoes. Really enjoyed relaxing in the pergola Lovely property! Host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely return!

Well appointed and clean rooms. Excellent communication with Shanon. We truly enjoyed the fire ring and the provided wood and fire starters. We used it as jump off point for many of the beautiful hiking areas that surround Tamaqua. Great restaurants nearby.We hope to make this a regular getaway location.

This house was very comfortable and complete. The back door entrance is only 1 step up. The shower water was a nice temperature and pressure. The TV offered multiple choices of programs. Books and DVDs were available.All the windows had privacy blinds /window treatment.

House was great. Yard and setting is lovely. Gazebo is very enjoyable. House had all amenities. Hooks in the bathroom, hangers in the closet. While set away from the road, there was road noise. Also, not a walkable area. Location is great to visit Pottsville, Jim Thorpe and Hawk Mountain!

Perfect for our weekend trip! This place was clean, comfortable, and homey. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screen house and even saw some deer! The location was great for our trip to Hawk Mountain and we also went to Jim Thorpe for lunch and the scenic railway ride. We would love to come back again sometime!

This place was just what the doctor ordered. The property was very well kept and quiet. The house was one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. All the amenities we needed were there minus the one thing i was looking for was a blender. Our family went there to celebrate the end of the jersey shore summer as we live there and work there. It was a much needed sit back, relax, unwind, and spend time with the family trip. The lawn games were so much fun and the pergola and fire pit was a huge bonus. We did not venture much into the town for anything but we went to a nearby coal mine no. 9 tour which i highly recommend. We also spent a day in a nearby town of Jim Thorpe which was also a vacation in its own. I can tell the property owners take great pride in their home. If we had any questions, there was immediate communication. We will definitely keep this place on our list to come back to.

This little home is situated in the woods behind the property owner's home. The home is well stocked and clean. The host was VERY responsive and very easy to work with. We did not use the outdoor amenities during our stay, which simply because we didn't have. Great home, great host, great rental experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house in the woods! The setting was peaceful and secluded, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved sitting out by the fire pit in the evenings, and we even spotted deer wandering through the backyard, which made the experience feel extra special. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature with all the right amenities, this is the place!

A loveky, quiet retreat!

The property is private, inviting, and super relaxing and comfortable inside and out. We were able to enjoy the firepit, use the well-stocked kitchen and grill, and enjoy the quiet. Sturgeon moon was a bonus, as well as morning coffee in the gazebo.WIFi worked, 2 bathrooms a huge plus. The home was as described, photos spit on.We will be back!

Very Nice Getaway

Very nice, the outside cabana and firepit are amazing.There were horseshoes and cornhole availble also. The only few issues with supplies were addressed by the owner and resolved right away.There plenty of activites nearby to keep everyone busy.Overall, I highly recommend this place.
