Come and enjoy this cozy lake front home on Ossipee Lake, perfect for families with kids! Get comfortable, relax and enjoy the amazing views from the screen porch. Enjoy swimming and floating in the clear lake water which is shallow at first for small ones and then gradually gets deeper. There is a private dock and mooring so bring your boat to fish and explore the lake and the bays. There is a beach with a picnic table, seating and firepit for ending the night with stories and smores! The property can sleep six with two bedrooms and one bath as part of the main house including a sofa and chair that convert to beds and an additional bedroom in the detached bunkhouse.

The house is clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi. This property is ideal for guests seeking a hassle-free experience. Upon your arrival, the beds will already be made with fresh linens; at check-out, we provide complete garbage service for your convenience.

--THE PROPERTY –
864 square feet with screen porch and bunkhouse connected with a deck with seating.

NOTE: There is filtered water supplied to the house.

NOTE: The house does have AC in the dining room area which cools down the whole house and leaves the option to open windows for the breeze off the lake when AC is not wanted. There is AC in the bunkhouse bedroom. There is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and (3) window fans available.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Parking (see and adhere to parking rules), Private beach, deck, picnic table, grill, dock + mooring, outdoor seating and street side deck with seating.

KITCHEN: Well-equipped, drip coffeemaker, tea kettle, toaster, microwave, blender, crockpot, pots & pans, dishes, cups, utensils, bowls and platters.

INDOOR LIVING: 1 flat-screen Smart TV, 6-person dining table and 3-bar stools at the island, games, books and lakeside screen porch.

NOTE: Owners live next door.

Pull in on righthand side of the bunkhouse. The driveway is clearly marked. Fit up to three compact cars or up to two larger type SUV / trucks.
Do not park to the left of the bunkhouse nor behind it. Do not park anywhere else across the street but the mentioned areas.
If additional parking is needed, there is room for one to two cars across the street to the right of the telephone pole for short term parking.

Perfect family vacation!

We came here for a long weekend with our family and it was the perfect spot. Quiet, peaceful, and friendly neighbors who also had kids and played with ours. Beautiful location. Cannot wait to come back already!

Great time on the water..

This is a wonderful home on the water! The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Great location - steps away from the water. Very peaceful and scenic.

Great place to stay for all !!

Fantastic long weekend getaway for our family. Enjoyed every moment we were there. The place was clean, cozy, and well equipped for the lake life. Great place to relax and get away from it all. Swimming, night fires with smores, close to restaurants. Would recommend to all !!

Clean, nicely decorated, cozy cottage.. great communication with property owner, dock and sandy beach with a million dollar view of the water.. also great spot to see the sunrise and sunsets! Our best stay on Ossipee!

The lakehouse was perfect. Literally just a couple feet to the water. We had seven people for our visit and everyone was comfortable, enjoyed the patio all day and evening.

Great location

This property was wonderful for our young family. Fantastic view from screened in porch. A great sandy beach that was nice and shallow for our two young kids (6&5) to swim. Owner was great to work with.

Best vacation!

The house was clean and beautifully renovated. It had all the kitchen items we needed along with bath towels and linens. It is right next to the water and has a beautiful beach that was perfect for our 21 month old daughter to play in. We had the best vacation here and plan to come again next summer!

The property and home are immaculate and equipped with everything you need! Loved the small touches like floats for the lake, water to make coffee, and wood and kindling for the fire pit. We will definitely book again.

This place was great!!!! Very clean. Beautiful decor. The only down would be the bedrooms are a bit small but I found the beds very comfortable. I would highly recommend renting this house.

Lake Paradise

Loved every minute of my September stay. House is beautiful and very welcoming. Besides the cottage and bunkhouse, the screened-in porch is amazing. Beach, dock and water access is great. Hosts are so nice. Loved that they were close by and very accessible. I’m already looking towards a return in 2025.

Perfect get away

Very clean and cozy home. Anything that a guest would need is already at the home and very well organized. Just steps to the waters edge with a terrific view from the screened in porch. Seeing a Moose cross the lake and coming a shore two houses from this home was a bonus. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing get away, this is the place.

Charming cottage

We had a wonderful mid week stay at this newly updated cottage located on Lake Ossipee. As soon as we walked through the doors, you could immediately tell this cottage was freshly updated/new! The beds were comfortable, bathroom & kitchen were clean. The kitchen had all the dishes, glasses, and utensils you need. The direct access to the lake was perfect! We enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch area every evening! I would definitely book this rental again!

Amazing property, amenities, easy check in, hosts were lovely!

We didn’t want for a thing. The house was equipped with all your cooking and comfort needs, fans, air conditioning, extra pillows etc.. The house checked every box. Location, literally right on the water, beautiful screened in porch, beautiful bunkhouse, plenty of seating inside and outside, plenty of games, towels and more. All you needed to bring was ur clothes and your bathing suits! Even a dock for a boat rental or your own boat! There was also wood for the fire pit. Can’t wait for another stay! Thank you Barbara and Pete for a perfect, relaxing time at your exceptionally clean cozy home! Oh sunrises from the porch were amazing! Linda and Charlie

Uncomfortable

The husband of this property owner we assume, or someone they knew, was staying next door and made our stay feel like we were being watched the whole time. From the moment we got there and were and were unloading cars, we instantly got contacted our cars were not parked okay. While we were unpacking. Then in order to be able to get out of our car we had to park a certain distance from the house, but we were too close to the other houses driveway or property line.

Taryn, The guy that came over to ask you to fix the cars as they were not parked as outlined in the house rules is my husband and owner of the rental. Even in your response you are defensive and rude as you were when he was just trying to get you to move the cars. You ignored the parking instructions; you were vaping on the screen porch. My guest saw you smoking and you gave your kid kitchen utensils to play with on the beach. We do not "watch" our renters but if they are blatantly breaking the house rules, we need to address it. It took you over a year to review your stay and you said these things because we will not rent to you again.

This property is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. The home is exceptionally clean, well organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay, especially the kitchen.Barbara was an outstanding host. She was highly responsive throughout our stay and took the time to give us a tour of the property upon our arrival, which made us feel welcome right away.The lake is perfect for families, with a gradual shoreline that allows you to walk quite a distance before the water becomes deep. The detached bunkhouse, connected to the main house by a furnished deck with comfortable patio seating, provides additional space while maintaining a convenient layout.We especially enjoyed spending time on the enclosed porch overlooking the lake and mountain views. Watching the sunrise and listening to the calls of the loons each morning made our stay even more memorable.The property is also ideally located, with a variety of restaurants and activities just a short drive away. Overall, this was a comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming place to stay. We would highly recommend it and would gladly return.
