Great stay

We stayed at this house for a short 4 night retreat and were extremely pleased with every aspect of the home. House was generally located to everything that we needed. Restaurants, shopping, beach. Well maintained and extremely clean. Pool was refreshing. Neighborhood was quiet. It was perfect for what our vacation desires required. Thank you.

Christmas with family

My family stayed here over Christmas and it was perfect. Four adults, two kids and the property worked for everyone. The home is very clean and nicely maintained. The property is centrally located, close to stores and the beach. The owners provided bikes which we rode to the beach the beach a couple of times. Its a late review, but I can't say enough about this property. We would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal Vacation Home on Intracoastal

Our family of 4 stayed here for 10 days in March 2016. The home is very well appointed and clean. The grounds and pool were well maintained and all outdoor furniture and barbecue were in excellent working order. The view is tremendous and many hours were spent in the back yard overlooking the inland canal. The Tiki Hut provided an escape from the sun and the pool was fabulous. The neighbours were all very nice and the area is close to everything including a 10 minute driver to the beach. The owners take tremendous pride in this property and checked in with us after arrival to ensure everything was to our liking. There is a boat dock and a boat rental facility is very close to allow a rental and trip down the intracoastal waterway. The interior is tastefully decorated and all is sparkling with all appliances in new order. We would recommend this to our family and friends as after years of staying in Florida in various places this was by far the best accommodation ever. Thanks to the owners!!!

What a Pleasurable Week!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed March 23-29. We chose the house based upon our criteria: crisp and clean, modern, with a pool and on a canal. The property did not disappoint! We enjoyed breakfast and coffee each morning under the new Tiki hut. We had a ton of fun in the pool. And we all enjoyed the "boardwalk" (my kids name for the boat dock). As it was Easter, we did many Easter egg hunts around backyard which was equally as fun. The house itself is modern and spacious for a 2 bed/2 bath. The kitchen and eating area were also very spacious. Netflix on the TV was a hit with our kids for cartoons and with my wife and I to catch a few of our favorite shows. The house was also a convenient 5 minute drive to the Pompano beach. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area; Kaluz, The Rusy Hook and Take Sushi were a few we enjoyed and would highly recommend. Working with Diana was a pleasure and she was very accomodating. I highly recommend this property and hope to make it back some time in the near future.

Canal House is a relaxing retreat that exceeded our expectations!

We just spent 9 days at the lovely house in Pompano just off the intercostal on a lagoon. The neighborhood is beautiful, peaceful, and so convenient. It's close to everything. The owners could not do enough for us. Very attentive to our needs and actually exceed our expectations in terms of amenities. The house is well laid out and ideal for couples or a small single group. Recently renovated the entire place was freshly painted. They just put in a new circular driveway and updated landscaping. The owners care about this house and it is well maintained. The pool is in top condition and is right out the back door on the lagoon. Beautifully lit at night. All on timers so you don't have to do a thing, all magically happens. Although there are neighbors, all are quite respectful which creates the peaceful atmosphere. Marble floors throughout with an uncluttered feel creates a beautiful living spaces. All appliances are new or like new. You will enjoy your time here. We plan to go back when we have the opportunity to visit the area for n extended stay. We would highly recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a great time ringing in 2016.

Great Relaxing Property

Beautiful home on the waterway! Would definitely stay again.

Great clean neighborhood! We loved the iguanas that sunned on the deck every morning. We also loved fishing off the dock and caught 2 fish! The location was great for day trips to Miami, beaches, and the Everglades. I would recommend a few more skillets for cooking though. It was challenging to make breakfast for my 4 teens with one skillet. Other than that, all was great! We appreciate and used the bikes, beach gear, and fishing gear. Wonderful memories were made thanks so much!

Spring break was fantastic!

Well maintained clean house. Great pool and deck. Comfortable beds. Great place to stay when traveling with an infant. 2 miles from the beach. We brought our kayaks and went down the channels.

Awesome place

The home was absolutely perfect. I agree with previous reviewers, even nicer than the pictures. Everything was spotless and nicely done. Diana and Ioan are amazing hosts. You can really see that they take great pride in their rental home, and work hard to ensure every detail is perfect. All of the special touches really showed how hard they try to ensure a great holiday. A little fresh bag of coffee at the coffee maker, tooth paste in each bathroom, a couple of beers in the fridge. Really nice touches. The home is small, but perfectly layed out. Great fun sitting on the dock catching fish and crabs. It was our first time staying right on the intracoastal, and it is definitely a fabulous experience. Ioan and Diana even took our whole family for a couple of boat rides that were very special, and VERY exciting at times. If you are thinking of a home in this area, this is the one, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for a great trip!

Lovely Home!!

This home is as pictured! We had a Great time staying in this home. There is everything you need to have an enjoyable stay including beach chairs, umbrella and cooler if you want to spend a day at the beach! Highly recommend!

Great place

Great place to relax, great location! Enjoyed morning coffee in the tiki hut watching the iguanas! Our highlight of the trip was a spur of the moment boat ride that your family took us on looking at Christmas lights along the Intracoastal! Definitely recommend this vacation rental to others. House had beach chairs, bikes and was very clean — can’t say enough about this place! Would definitely come back!

Great getaway!

We stayed at this house over Thanksgiving and it had everything we needed! The owners were nice and easy to work with and the location is very close to Lauderdale - By- The - Sea town square! Really clean and quiet area!

Just like pictured!

This place is just as beautiful as it is in the pictures! Stayed here for 9 days in total and it was perfect. Everything was clean and having that stripmall with walmart so closeby was great. Upon check-in Diana provided all the information necessary for a great stay, and even if something came up, she was always lightning fast with a response! Definitely a 5 star from us, we would not hesitate in renting this place again.

WONDERFUL PROPERTY !!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The pool was very nice and refreshing on a hot day. We met Diana's husband who was kind enough to take us for a ride on his boat and show us some of the scenery from the water. Watching the iguana's on the deck in the daytime was very entertaining and we even caught a few fish from the dock. The beach and many restaurants were a short drive away. If you are looking for a great place to stay where you have your own private house and pool I would highly recommend this home. You won't be disappointed with this rental.

Everything is great in this house !! So clean to the arrival !!! Bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed. 2 bathrooms well appointed too !!! Oh, the kitchen.. Wonderfull !!! Big fridge, cook top great, dishwasher great.. You can't find anything wrong in this house.. Very quiet, heated pool, wonderful.. Kids love !!!! You can fish, you can catch blue crabs (we did it !!! Crabs like chicken..), neighbors quiet.. Good restaurants around and many stores for shopping.. Ideal.. Owners so kind and always available whatever you need.. In the garden, there's a bbq and a tiki, lovely.. Not too demanding usually but there i came across something very good !! The only negative is that i can not stay any longer !!!! Near Miami, great position.. Hope we'll be able to come next year.. Waiting for that..
