Ivy Cottage | Hocking Hills, Modern, Hot Tub

Experience beauty inside and out at Ivy Cottage. This modern cabin is part of Wilder's beautiful 40 acres and is situated privately among the 10 total cabins on the Wilder Property. You will be nestled amongst the trees of our private woods, which is lined with hiking trails. It features a hot tub, fire pit, indoor wood burning stove, king bed, desk space, and selection of board games. Come unwind, disconnect from distractions, and reconnect to what matters in the stillness and beauty of the wilderness. Must be 21 years or older to rent. Open Parking lot for all 10 cabins on site. Please note that parking is not available directly in front of your cabin. Wagon is provided to assist with luggage. 4WD/AWD is recommended in all seasons. No WiFi available.

If you're looking for a cabin stay that is remote, aka no wifi or reception. The house is cute.

I liked the charm of the house but there were cheap fixes from the curtain rods not fitting the frames to the molding being easily knocked out of place. There was also painting over fixes, the silverware wasn't clean upon arrival, and the website's instructions clashed with the emailed instructions about stays. Also, the signage was lacking about where places are, so make sure you know if you should park at the first place or second towards the back right of the property. I did enjoy the charm.

Everything you’d need was thought out and there for convenience. It wasn’t too far from hiking and it was a beautiful and fun little getaway! Would love to stay here again!

The Ivy was a very nice place to stay with only a couple minor drawbacks.

The cottage was very nice and accommodating with the exception of the black adhesive someone used to secure a headrest in the hot tub. It got all over our swimwear, skin and the tub. The large blind in the bedroom was broken so we were unable to see out the window. The lower shelf on the coffee table looks to have been poorly repaired. The grounds could have used a little more care. The road was very rough. The walkways look as if they were never finished and last autumn’s leaves remained.
