Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed staying here. 5 stars do not do this place justice. The house is very clean and well appointed. Far enough away from town to enjoy yet close enough to be convienent. Not far from the bridge to New )rleans

Overall very nice with one exception

Very nice, clean, and roomy. My husband and I traveled to Ponchatula with my sister and her husband. Our only complaint was that both beds were quite small and badly in need of new/better mattresses. Area was very quiet and felt very safe.

Nice location minutes to everywhere. Neighborhood very quiet. I only seen one or two neighbors the whole day. The house was very clean and spacious but really enjoy our Christmas holiday. Thank you.

The stay was nice good neighborhood i gave 3 star's on the cleanliness of the house, bc they were food crumbs on the master bedroom bed and also the master bedroom toilet was not flushed. And the rolling tray on the patio was not ours it was there already. But other than that overall it was ok.

The house from the outside looked really cute. They had a great floorplan, but the pictures on the Verbo are deceiving. All of the furniture is beat up in the picture that shows that there’s a long couch with a black cover over the arm wrist that couch was on the back porch And had been completely chewed off or torn up where they had tried to cover it up to take pictures the house was dirty. I wanted to cook, but when I looked at the stove, there was grease all down the front of it and on the drawer below there was no way I was going to cook on anything that they had. There were no pictures on the wall, but all the screws and nails were still there in the master bathroom the towel rack could come down apparently several times they just spackled it didn’t paint it and then again it had fallen and just left if you touched it, part of the sheet rock would’ve come off. I went to let our dogs out into the backyard and the little patio that screened in was disgusting had never been swept off when I walked out in the yard. There was a lot of dog poop. I ended up picking up four bags of dog poop from someone else’s dogs. The front door on the inside some dog and scratched and tore up the sheet rock. Also, the screen on the back porch was held on by scotch tape which fell off and what really upset us more than anything. It was the Wi-Fi did not work. We tried everything possible. we ended up using our hotspot I did not contact the owner figured they didn’t care

I had to move a washing machine, bed mattress, and chimenea around by myself in the garage so the car would fit. The entire unit was filthy. The light was out in garage. The light only worked when raising or shutting garage. There were no pamplets or paper work in unit from owner with instructions on what they expected from their guests before checkout. Floors were dirty, counter tops, oven dirty. Mold in freezer and fridge hadn’t been cleaned. Table still had food on it. Cluttered closets. Towels didn’t smell fresh. The cloths that were supposed to be white were all dingy. There was coffee creamer all on counter top. There is a gunshot hole under door knob of front door. Half of the kitchen drawer pulls were missing. Floors were dirty. Back screen porch cluttered and couch outside has stains you don’t even want to sit on. After unpacking and settling in my mom immediately began cleaning the unit. Washing only the towels that we would be using. Cleaning the kitchen countertops and table for us to be able to eat on. I have taken pictures of the unit to show. These pictures should be available online before clients renting, instead of after you’ve paid for the unit. Then being able to see everyone else’s negative reviews. The location for us was perfect! I brought both of my parents to Ponchatula to visit family while they are able. Dad is 86, Mom is 82. They both have altzheimers. I hate to leave negative reviews. This is actually my first one to ever leave. We felt dirty.

Great location and easy check in and out process. Would have liked for the floors to be cleaned better since we had our kids with us.
