Welcome to Cozy Cub Den!

Located on Beaver Pond and the Northstar Shuttle route, this quaint cabin is a great choice for year round fun! Enter this multi level home down 6 steps from the flat driveway and detached two car garage. What we love about this property is the high vaulted ceilings in the main great room, offering floor to ceiling windows that bring the pine forest views in. Enjoy lounging by the gas fireplace on the ample living room furniture, or take the fun outside to the new second story deck, complete with Adirondack chairs, a gas BBQ, and greenbelt views. Located equal distance to Kings Beach and Truckee; north Lake Tahoe beaches, shopping, and dining are just a short 10 minute drive away. Order a free shuttle to seasonal fun at Northstar mountain, including mountain biking, hiking, and world class skiing.

The Cozy Cub Den Layout Follows:
- Bedroom 1: King Bedroom with en suite bath and stand up shower
- Bedroom 2: Queen Bedroom with en suite bath and stand up shower
- Sleeping nook through queen bedroom - enter through bedroom - furnished with a queen and twin
- Dedicated work space with desk
- Open great room space with L-shaped couches, one queen sleeper sofa, a gas fireplace, and dining for 8
- Spacious kitchen with breakfast bar for 3, stainless steel appliances, and generous pantry
- Full size washer dryer and laundry space
- Large new deck with a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture
- Rounding out this cute cabin is a flat driveway and two car garage

We loved our stay at the Cozy Cub Den! The location was outstanding - the ski bus picked us up at the end of the driveway and was so easy! The house was so comfortable and there was more than enough room for two couples. We especially enjoyed lounging in the fireplace room. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. We would definitely stay again!

A fantastic home for relaxing after a big day on the slopes! A comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and a lovely hot shower made this rental perfect for our family. It was super close to Northstar mountain, easily accessible by a free shuttle. We’d love to come back again soon!

Family ski trip to Northstar

Perfect stay for a family ski trip to Northstar. Quite a lot of space and very comfortable. The Northstar shuttle was super convenient, fast, and we used it every day. Large kitchen with everything you need and we cooked several meals and ate out several nights. Large backyard for playing in the snow and large outside deck.

June by the Fireplace

Great comfy guest house with lots of sleeping. Halfway between Truckee and North lake Tahoe. Had a cold weekend, even got snowed on. Took advantage of hot tubs at Northstar. Nice large deck with beautiful trees. Had a coyote in back yard several times(im sure he was a local). Only saw 1 black bear in Kings beach. Great relaxing stay in a fully equipped house, thanks for letting us stay!

Fantastic place; virtually brand new. Back deck with grill is nice to chill on after a long day of swimming/hiking/etc., and a good number of bedrooms to split up kids if need be. Two-car garage is a plus so you can store bikes, floaties, etc. rather than leave in car or drag inside. Good kitchen with pretty much everything you'd need from plates to spices and stuff. We did take advantage of the local "HOA" pool, and my wife used the gym there. So setting up a "base camp" of sorts worked well to stay for several hours if you don't want to hit the lake that day.Local prop management is great as they fixed two minor issues day of, which was a big convenience.One note - house does have AC but there aren't vents in the bedrooms on the top floor, so it can get a little toasty there. They do provide fans which was a big help.

We had a great time at the Cozy Bear Cub Cabin. Very comfortable seating and beds. They thought of everything. We hope to come back in the winter for skiing.
