Loved this place. It’s easy to get to. It’s quiet, but not so secluded that we felt uncomfortable. Very clean. We had a great time. It was easy to book. Host was easy to contact and very kind and informative. Would book it again.

Wonderful get away
Great property that is secluded but close to West Jefferson. The host was very friendly and communicated with me for any questions we had regarding the property or the area. Would recommend for any time of year.

Wonderful property with a perfect little house
Our family of 4 wanted to get away for a long weekend with the goal of simply enjoying some time outside. We brought our own food and planned to use the kitchen and grill to do our cooking. Unfortunately, we had reserved this place for the same weekend that Hurricane Helene came through the mountains of North Carolina. We were trapped by trees on both sides and of course the power was completely out. Cell service was also taken out by the storm.
How can I still give this house 5 stars? It was absolutely perfect. There were so many touches to improve our stay. A fire pit with cut wood and a s'mores making kit was there for use. There were multiple sets of snacks and candy in the house. We had extra towels that we needed for drying off after playing in the rain. Most importantly, the gas grill was in great shape along with several pots and pans to allowed us to do some creative cooking (highly recommend bacon on the grill and the pancakes were pretty good too).
Above all else, the owners and the neighbors were incredibly kind to us while we were stuck without power. The owner came in on foot to check on us after the storm, as did multiple neighbors. Several people brought us food and water. I couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people to be trapped with for 2 days.
Our story is hopefully going to different than the one you have, but you can be confident that you will have a beautiful house to stay in, fantastic property to enjoy, and be surrounded by wonderful people.
