With 2 cozy bedrooms, including a queen bed and 2 bunk beds, it's perfect for a small group or family wanting a more upscale camping experience. Nestled in a serene, non-touristy location, this charming retreat provides a peaceful ambiance for relaxation where you can truly unplug from the world. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the lake front deck or dock while listening to the call of the loons. There is also a charcoal grill located on the deck or a gas grill for your use near where you enter the cottage from your car. There is an older firepit near the gas grill where you can toast smores or just enjoy a bonfire. Book now and enjoy everything this cabin has to offer.

Please leave the cottage UNLOCKED with the key on the kitchen counter or on the key ring holder by the bathroom door. All dishes should be washed in put away. Nothing left in sink.

All trash must be sealed and bagged in one of the 2 trash barrels provided. Do NOT throw loose bottles, etc. b/c our trash collector won't take it.

Please try to limit water use by limited toilet flushes, showers, etc. Our septic is fragile and 10 feet from the kitchen door.

No motorboats are allowed but feel free to bring a paddleboard or kayak. Also no camping on site or RV's allowed.

Beautiful lake, quiet. Minimal boating.

Could use more comfortable living room chairs and mattresses. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Thank you for choosing our cottage for your family vacation, Raymond. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't find our living room chairs and mattresses very comfortable but I appreciate the feedback. Hopefully the boating situation wasn't a surprise though. We just have what I include in the description - 2 seater row boat, a single person kayak and a child size kayak that fits up to 150 lbs. This was a perfect lake getawat. We wanted to fish and sit vy the water and thats what we did for the week. The lake was clean and it was nice to have the paddle boat and row boat to take out on the water. The porch was perfect for playing games on when it was dark outside. The house was big enough for our family of 5 and a dog. I would definitely recommend this cottage. We didnt go anywhere but it is about 40 or so minutes to area attractions.

Hi! I own this cottage with my 2 sisters and we have been coming up here since we were born with our parents. My grandfather and great grandfather built the cottage (I think in the 1950's) and several years ago, my father passed the property onto us like his parents did for him. :-) Our Davis family has owned quite a few properties on or near the lake over the years and have deep ties to the area. My grandparents as well as great aunts and uncles would live in Piermont (or nearby towns) during the spring/summer/early fall and then live in Florida during the winter. I live in Massachusetts with my husband and two children who absolutely love spending time at the lake each summer. I love that Lake Armington is a quiet, small lake and in a fairly remote location BUT that you are close enough to go to area attractions where there is more "action" like Lincoln, NH which is approximately a 45 - 50 minute drive. Plymouth NH is approximately 30 minute drive and the "Polar Caves" in Plymouth is the closest attraction to our cottage. Whales Tale Water Park and Clark's Trading Post would be the next closest attractions in Lincoln and are Davis family favorites.

It's a rustic cottage which may not be ideal for people used to staying in hotels but you cannot beat sitting out on the deck overlooking the lake and watching the sunset behind Piermont Mountain. I think our cottage is perfect for people that enjoy camping and want a more upscale experience.
