Rest and recharge, nestled in the woods at Tiny Bear Paw! Perfect for two adults to get away from it all! Comfy furnishings, workspace, and plenty of wonderful outdoor space to enjoy.
Your retreat starts at the driveway surrounded by trees, leading to Tiny Bear Paw. A wonderful front porch welcomes you to enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The living room boasts lux comfort with a cozy recliner + chaise lounge with laptop stand so you can still work in complete comfort! An electric fireplace can provide heat in the winter or turn off the heat and just enjoy the glow in the evenings. A wonderful work space with seating for two with USB plug-ins, provides a great space to work while on retreat. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need to make all your meals and snacks including plenty of dishes, pot and pans, a Keurig single cup coffee maker, coffee, creamer and sugar. A full spice rack is there if you need it as well as dishwasher, full size range and refrigerator with ice maker. From the kitchen, head up the stairs to the loft space for a nap or to dive into that new book you've been saving for vacay! Head back down the stairs and continue to the bedroom for a great nights sleep in the Queen bed complete with fresh linens and direct access to the back porch to take in nature and all the peace and quiet. The bathroom has a shower only and our fav shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and all the cozy towels you'll need for you stay. Venture outside to the fire pit area and enjoy the smokeless fire pit and plenty of seating as well as the charcoal grill. Follow the trail to the lot behind the property to enjoy some reflection and meditation and get back to nature. Please note this property is not pet friendly.

Perfect place to relax!

Tiny Bear Paw never disappoints! This was our second time staying here, and it was just as perfect as it was the first time. It looks just like the pictures. It is clean and cozy. It was decorated for Christmas, which was an extra touch that was much appreciated. We cooked majority of our meals, and the kitchen was equipped with all of the tools we needed. There was an extra deck that was added outside that was not there on our first visit; we enjoyed sitting out there and reading. We look forward to many more visits. It has become one of our favorite places to stay.

Comfy, fav tiny home yet!

We had a great time staying at the Tiny Bear Paw. We absolutely loved the decor. All the bear stuff was a fav for us. Thank you for decorating for Christmas. We loved the steel tongue drum and Lola blankets so well that I ordered one of both. The only thing I didn’t like was the shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and body wash were all watered down. I did bring my thing but forgot the first day to put it in the shower. After that I didn’t forget. Everything else was perfect tho. Delightful Retreats, this was our 2nd stay in one of the tiny homes you rent and we love y’all. Thanks for showing us how easy tiny home living could be. The Tiny Bear Claw is a wonderful place to stay. I found the place on their website. Was a little skeptical but after we arrived and entered the cabin it was unbelievable. Entire cabin was spotless. Everything is laid out and furnished with comfort in mind. It's a wonderful place for a couple wanting to get away for a few days. Very close to downtown Mentone. Only a short drive. Only 3 miles to Mentone market. The trails are well marked and easy to walk. The kitchen is fully stocked so if you forget something it's probably in a cabinet or drawer. Surprises were everywhere. From the most comfortable outside furniture located close by the cabin and along the trails if you're looking for seclusion. There are also two pair of binoculars for bird and animal watching. Tiny Bear Claw is the perfect place for relaxing or a home base if you are out exploring the trails and water falls during the day. Close to DeSoto falls, Desoto state park, and little river canyon just to name a few. We will definitely stay there again.

This was the best property we ever stayed in. Everything was perfect and the host had done a wonderful job having everything anyone could need. The location was ideal for a "get-away". The place was perfect and so well done. We did our best to leave the home in the same condition we found it.

The property is on a quiet side road surrounded by nature and the associated sounds. We thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful appointments of the cabin. It is obvious that someone appreciates the outdoors and has tried to make your time there as enjoyable as possible. We enjoyed walking the trails on the property and finding the hidden treasures.

Thoughtfully Designed and Tranquil

The Tiny Bear Paw is such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed tiny house. It had everything we needed for our extended weekend stay and it was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. Completely, perfectly supplied, full kitchen, Keurig machine, fire pit with firewood, rocking chair and picnic area, two screened in porches - one with outdoor furnishings, one with a small table and chairs, perfect for evening coffee, enjoying the Edison bulb hanging lights for ambience. Romantic, tranquil, restful. Fairly secluded in the woods. Short walking trail, complete with fairy houses. Great set up for movie watching with a powerful soundbar. Beautiful "Bear-themed" decor. SO CLEAN! HIGHLY recommend this for a quick couple's getaway. Loved it so much and intend on coming back!

Great tiny home

Enjoyed our stay at Tiny Bear Paw! Perfect for a couple just looking for a quiet place to stay. Clean and well equipped with more than a normal rental. The bed was extremely comfortable (which is a big deal to me!) Would definitely stay here again. Of note, our GPS was off slightly and told us we had arrived at the location but we were not. The home is set back off of a gravel road-not directly on the paved road. Because of other tiny homes in the area, it took us a few minutes to find the actual location.

Home Away from Home

We wanted a mountain stay not too far from home. We love hiking, we were 25 minutes from Cloudland Canyon and Little River Canyon. This property was absolutely everything we wanted and more. There was nothing we needed that was not there for us to use. Fully stocked, fully functional everything was perfect. There was only one issue the water in the shower was only Luke warm , it did not get hot at all. The grounds were kept so well. There were trails built on the grounds that were so well marked. All in all this was a wonderful stay!! Thank you so much for hosting us.

Great Peaceful Stay

This is a very clean and well designed cabin. The furniture and bed was incredible comfortable. It was loaded with so many amenities. I was overwhelmed at how the owners thought of everything. I loved the fireplace on the cold nights I was there. The cabin was in a very peaceful and delightful location. I would love to visit here again.

Weekend Getaway!

Tiny Bear Paw was the perfect weekend getaway for us. The property was exceptionally clean and stocked with everything one could need on vacation. It's located in a perfectly quiet spot off the main road, but not far from anything you would want to visit while in Mentone. We truly enjoyed our visit and will book again in the future!
