Great Place to Stay When Visiting Whistler

This home was an excellent place for us to stay during our ski trip. It lives up to the multiple positive reviews that I read prior to booking.

Nice but needs updating

There are a lot of stairs (be warned!) but it has the potential to be a great spot for a bigger group. Sadly, this particular unit needs updating. These are my suggestions: The beds and pillows are uncomfortable. The kitchen bar stools are uncomfortable and broken. The dining chairs have tacky slip covers that fall off. The living room couch slides apart anytime someone sits on it. The TV couch is a small love seat, so it’s not condusive to a group hang, which is disappointing given it’s a four bedroom unit. It’s a 13-18 min (depending how fast you walk) walk into the village which is great and relatively flat too. Parking situation is great - we had a big rental truck and it fit well plus room for another car and lots of visitor parking. Hot tub didn’t get hot enough and instructions weren’t clear. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking and two bar fridges were handy for extra space for drinks. For the rental rate, it would benefit from a bit of updating!

Good Ski Rental

Worked quite well for ski trip. Well stocked, good location, easy check-in. The main floor layout was slightly different from other units in the same complex where we had stayed previously and didn't work as well, but overall a very positive experience.

Great location, great accommodation for family mountain bike holiday in Whistler

Highlights of this accommodation are the secure 2 car garage for all the toys, it’s large size, and the hot tub. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need and the unit has A/C which was perfect for a record hot BC summer. The location is perfect for easy access to Whistler bike park, the Village, and Alta Lake. Great place for a summer vacation. The property itself is not as well maintained as several of the other units in the same complex where we’ve stayed previously. A kitchen cabinet door was falling off its hinges, the hot water in the lower bathroom sink wasn’t functional, and the intake air return grate was not secure. However, these things did not preclude us from having a great stay.

Nice property

Nice property. Stayed over US Thanksgiving. Close to village via bus or walk. House was well stocked in the kitchen and was deftly clean. Only complaint was an odd odor from the two guest closets on the top floor. Might of been a previous animal. Other than that great property. Be prepared for the stairs...up and down gets old when you’re down in the garage.

Great spot for our sisters’ gathering

We loved this property - convenient, super clean and very well equipped. One small suggestion - more seating in the living room. The somewhat uncomfortable couch didn’t work for six people visiting.

Fabulous Fitzsimmons Property in Whistler

What a fabulous property for a family vacation. The townhouse is designed so well that everyone can have their own space or can be all together very comfortably. It has everything that you need just grab some groceries and unpack. The parking below is the best set up we have ever come across. We came to Whistler to ride the Gran Fondo and this property was perfect - so close to the finish line and to the stroll. The only problem we had was we had to leave!! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with the Rumohr's!!

Great place!

We loved this place--very close to town, and perfect for our family! There are a number of stairs since it is on 4 levels, and it is a vertical construct, but it's within 1 mile from Whistler Village and the grocery store (IGA). It's also right on the Valley Trail.

Great Experience

Loved this rental!! it was amazing. It was a great stay and perfect for our group. I would definitely stay here again - one of my most fun vacations of my life. Only drawbacks were that they kept changing the key code on us, so people would get locked out and it was super inconvenient. I was able to call and get the new code quickly and painlessly, but still not a great experience. Also both of the garages stopped working on us and we spent about an hour troubleshooting, then got to where we needed to be late via walking/riding our bikes. Not the end of the world, but part of our group couldn't participate because they got lost. I think this was due to a transformer blow, not necessarily the properties issue, but we ended up parking in visitor parking the rest of the trip

Great location

This place was great. Located on the trail system made it easy to go running before heading out to ski. The place has a lot of room and a well stocked kitchen. I wish the hot tub was a little more private but it was hot and worked great. The staff was attentive and fixed the wi-fi, brought firewood and fixed the heat. We might have been the first group in for the season. We had a great time!

Beautiful property in a great location!

Beautiful finished property just a short walk from Whistler Village! Great kitchen that has everything you could possibly need! Plenty of room for bigger groups/families! Would definitely rent this property again!

Amazing stay with lots of room!

Great stay

We stayed here for 8 nights during the ski season and had a fantastic time. The property is clean, and well maintained. The management responded quickly to our requests for additional cleaning supplies, and hot tub maintenance. The only drawback is that we still had to drive to the Whistler gondola as it was a just a little too far to walk there with all our gear. Highly recommended!
