Hilltop was awesome!

Probably the best rental we've ever been in! Kitchen equipped to the max - plenty of amazing spaces for our 3 families. Huge dining room table in front of a wall of windows with amazing sunset views! Except to ski we never left the house! Loved it!

Amazing Ski Weekend

Amazing time away! The house was beautiful, with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. More than enough room for everyone. Love the large dining room table for everyone to eat together. Great private location, nice and close to Saddleback, as well as stores and restaurants. Check in and check out process was smooth. Great communication.

A truly perfect stay

My family (12 people ranging in age from 69 to 2) stayed in this property during the solar eclipse in April of 2024. We've stayed in many rental properties over the years and this was by far our very favorite. This property is unbelievably well stocked. My Sister in Law is a chef and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed for any baking or cooking we could imagine. Additionally the kitchen is so well designed that multiple people can easily prepare food together at the same time. The bedrooms are divided across 3 levels - perfect for multiple families sharing the same space. In addition, having 2 living areas with multiple conversation areas meant that we could all comfortably engage with one another and find space for quiet alone time when we needed it. We were also very impressed to find that there were plenty of basic supplies (TP and Paper Towels) available for us - beyond what was shared in the listing. While I would not encourage anyone to expect this to be the case (always come prepared), it was a lovely surprise. Finally, the rental company went above and beyond to communicate about the snow that hit the region the day before we arrived. We were all prepared to deal with Maine's mud season, but the added information helped us ensure we could get to the property safely.

Our second year running in this house. Everything is great. Perfect number of rooms for our group. Kitchen is well stocked. Lots of living space. Nice view of the lake. Easy access to Saddleback and town. We will be back.

We had an awesome stay at the Hilltop in Rangeley! The house was beautifully set up and very cleanly. The space was perfect for our large group. We loved the fireplace centrally located in the upstairs between the kitchen and the dining area. The downstairs was great for playing games and watching TV. The location was also fantastic for skiing at Saddleback and getting to down town Rangeley to eat and explore the town. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Rangeley area.

Hilltop for 3 days accommodating 14 for a wedding at Saddleback.

A late July wedding found us renting the Hilltop property. It was well furnished, and with incidentals. The place was quiet, nestled in the woods with views facing towards Rangeley Lake. The three floors were quite useful as we had a newborn and 3 year old. The one item mentioned by all guest were the conditions of the road. Some brought vehicles that hit bottom on a culvert and pot holes. Suggesting SUV's would be helpful when renters are considering the property. Most had them and those that didn't we escorted in after the first time. Would rent the property again.

Hilltop was the perfect house. We had a large group and the numerous bedrooms and living spaces suited us perfectly. The lot is very private and had great views of the lake. Morton & Furbish were tremendously helpful as well!

The property is beautiful! Had a few issues last 2 night there because of furnace issues.. but over all had a great time! We are planning next years trip.

You won't find a better house for a large group!

What an Exceptional home! We never wanted to leave. We loved the Views galore, huge fireplace, stocked kitchen, plush bedding, game closet, dining table for 14, wildlife spotting, the list goes on. This house was sparkling clean, amazingly spacious and comfortable. 15 minutes to saddleback. We can't wait to return in every season. Thank you for everything!

Getting up the road and into the driveway was a little hard nothing was sanded But want there the house was beautiful and the view was gorgeous. Had everything you could ask for in there. So well supplied The only thing we would recommend would be fans in the bathrooms.

Always excellent

Home is always in pristine condition. Owner is wonderful to work with and always goes the extra mile to ensure that the home is in top condition and all is perfect. Location is amazing, has beautiful views and is quiet and peaceful. I have rented many homes in the area and this home is very special in many ways. It provides everything required for a dream vacation. I have rented this home now for the last 6 or 7 years during the winter and will continue to do so in the future.
