This property had some pros and cons:Pros: - nice location, listed as a studio, but it's more of a 1 bedroom, so it was larger than expected, quiet night's sleep, nice neighborhood, close to town, easy to find - handle on tub great!Cons: - Very old and run down building, but still fairly clean, just old. I have never stayed at a VRBO that didn't have some basics, like shampoo - so it was a quick trip I didn't bring anything and had to go buy - I had to search out in all the cabinets for towels and a blanket - because nothing was out - no wash cloth that I could find. Slippery shower, no grip. Communication was not the best. I notified the host at least 2-4 weeks in advance I had to fly out early due to airline changes and wanted to cancel a day - NEVER heard anything back. Did not contact me until the day before arrival with an address but no other info until after I landed in Alabama and was on my way to the property - upstairs guests/owners are very loud. Not based on what they were doing, just an old building and everything is loud when someone above you is up. Sadly, it made me get up at 5:15am when they were up!Overall - I think for what was paid, any of the hotels/motels in the area offered the same experience and more amenities - and I would likely stay at a hotel next time, UNLESS you want the large dining table and a kitchen area (beware, photo of refrigerator is NOT accurate, it is much smaller) the only perk for me was really a decent night's sleep.
