Welcome to 2908 Captain Sams, a stunning beach house retreat nestled behind the gates of Seabrook Island, SC. This beautifully updated home, new to the vacation rental market, offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, making it an ideal getaway for families or groups of friends seeking relaxation and adventure.

Guests enter into a bright and airy living area adorned with new furnishings and modern decor. Decorated in a palette of neutral coastal colors, the living area features plush seating including a pull-out sofa bed, a large smart TV, a fireplace (for aesthetic purposes only), ceiling fan, and more, The open-concept layout seamlessly connects the dining room to the fully remodeled kitchen, which is equipped with high-quality appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Enjoy meals together at the dining table or take advantage of the outdoor deck area and grill for a delightful barbecue on the spacious deck.

The oversized deck allows guests to maximize their time away outdoors. Comfortable seating, ample lighting, and secluded privacy makes sunning, resting or enjoying evening cocktails outside a highlight of your stay. A sunroom off the dining area offers an additional place to read the morning paper, catch up on emails, or enjoy a rest after the beach.

The master bedroom features a plush king-sized bed adorned with premiere bedding, dresser, closet, mirror, smart TV, and ceiling fan. Catch a glimpse of the starry sky out the sliding doors in the bedroom that lead to the deck. Blackout curtains make sleeping in a treat. Guests love the remodeled ensuite bath with oversized shower and dual vanities. A second bedroom also boasts a king-sized bed, dresser, closet, chair, custom window blinds, and ceiling fan. The third bedroom is furnished with a cozy queen-sized bed, dresser, closet, desk area, and ceiling fan. Each room is designed with your comfort in mind, including quality linens and bedding, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring.

The property also features a range of amenities to enhance your stay, including air conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi, and a smart TV for your entertainment. Enhanced cleaning and sanitization practices are used for your safety and comfort. For added convenience, a washer and dryer are available in the laundry area, along with essential items like towels, linens, and toiletries are provided. A rollaway bed is also provided in case guests in your party want to spread out.

Well behaved dogs are welcomed at this property for an added fee. Please help us in keeping pets off the furniture.

A long driveway offers ample space. 3 vehicles are permitted at this property. Amenity cards offering access to the club are available. With convenient self-check-in and a private entrance, your vacation experience is designed to be seamless and enjoyable.

Located just a short distance from beautiful beaches and local attractions, 2908 Captain Sams is the perfect base for your Seabrook Island adventure. Seabrook Island is a one-of-a-kind, gated destination with over three miles of uncrowded, private, uncrowded (and dog friendly) beach open only to residents and guests on the island, a nationally recognized members-only club overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and accessible only to members and guests with amenity cards. These amenities include the oceanfront beach club with two pools, poolside bar, cafe, Bohicket Lounge, tennis, pickleball. Equestrian center, and more. There is also a fitness center and indoor aquatics for a daily rate. The crab docks, the outdoor Lakehouse pool, basketball court, and playground are also enjoyed by guests. Bohicket Marina, outside the gates of Seabrook Island, features over 200 boat slips, restaurants, and shops. There are kayak tours, boating charters, and bike rentals nearby. Freshfield Villages, set between Seabrook and Kiawah Islands, features over 30 shops and boutiques, an array of restaurants, spa services, and special events (like theatre under the stars and outdoor music). Downtown Charleston, SC is a 21 mile scenic drive. There are many sights to see in short driving distance including The Angel Oak Tree, Charleston Tea Gardens, Drayton Hall, Magnolia Plantation, Deep Water Vineyards, and more. There is something for everyone and we are here to recommend anything you need from private chef experiences to car service to historical walks to ghost tours and more.

BEACH: there are nine beach access points around the island. 2 miles to the beach from this home
CLUB AMENITIES: Amenity Cards included. Access to Beach Club (open seasonally), golf, tennis. Lakehouse outdoor pool accessible too.
POOL: access to the two Seabrook Island Beach Club pools with the amenity card. Outdoor pool at the Seabrook Island Lake House are also included.
PARKING: This property allows for a maximum of 3 vehicle gate passes. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) count towards the total number of gate passes permitted. No garage access.
CHILDREN: Children welcome.
LONG-TERM RENTALS: This property is open to winter monthly rentals and long-term rentals. Please contact us for discounted monthly rental rates.
PET POLICY: Well-behaved dogs permitted at this property. Additional fee applies.

LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. Beach towels are not included (although towel service is available at the Beach Club.)

WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know. Coffee Maker: Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker on site. (BYO ground coffee for carafe or use provided Keurig K-cups.)

AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards offer exclusive access to the Seabrook Island beach club, dining club, tennis and award-winning golf. Without this card, access is prohibited. Amenity Cards are INCLUDED with this rental (a $50 day savings). Guests also have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone. Beginning January 1, 2025, pre-order forms will be mandatory for all guests. Please ensure that your completed form is submitted to the amenity office at least two weeks prior to your arrival to avoid a $10 late fee. Due to the volume of requests and the card preparation process, the office is now unable to accept information over the phone.

ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 3 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night – 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) must be gas powered and count towards the 3 vehicle maximum.

CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions

From the moment you book with us, in planning and preparing for your arrival, throughout your stay with us, and even after checking out and sharing your experience with us, we remain committed to your vacation experience and are here at any time to answer any questions that arise or concerns you have. We want you to have a relaxing, safe, and memorable trip.

CLEANING: Our housekeeping teams are among the most detailed anywhere. Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We are one of the only companies that washes the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.

THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.

IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.

PARTIES: THIS IS an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!
