Nice, clean and centrally located property. Pleased the unit comes with secure underground parking. The host gets 5 stars for accurate and timely communications with the check-in and check-out process.

Nice place as described, easy communication with John, practical location with safe access to parking garage. Could walk to shops and cafes and quick drive to the beach. Bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked with full size fridge and neighborhood relatively quiet for a city environment.

Perfect spot to stay while visiting family in Santa Monica. Clean with a comfy bed and easy to walk to stores, restaurants and sights. John gave very clear check-in instructions and responded to messages quickly.

This was a great place to stay in Santa Monica. Very comfortable, clean, safe secure parking, and host is responsive to any questions. Excellent location, close to wonderful restaurants and bakeries, shops, the beach and the pier. We enjoyed how walkable the area is. It’s easy to hop on The 10 to get to all the downtown museums and sites we wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend.

We loved staying in the Studio apartment. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to my email questions. We would rent it again as the location is perfect!

Clean, easy instructions for arriving with or without a car. Close to many stores and not too far from Santa Monica pier. John was a great host and helpful with any questions.

First I do want to say that John was an excellent host, and I am more than happy with my stay. The location is excellent, the property was clean and the check-in/out process was as smooth as can be (Parking was easy as well).I just want to highlight a few things that might not be clear in the listing. First Laundry is not in-unit. The laundry is in the lowest floor(underground) and you must use an app to pay for it, However there is no signal down there so we had to come up and down the elevator to get the washer and dryer going (to be fair this could be user error, there might have been an easier way). The way the app works to pay for laundry is by loading 5 increments on your account and scanning a QR code. What is annoying is that laundry is charged in 3 increments, so unless you do a total of 5 loads, you will be forced to leave some money on your account. Second the bed is pretty firm (some people like that other don't) and lastly the AC is directly facing the bed so if its hot and your run the ac at night you will get cold air blown on you. Again personal preference (I like that, my partner not so much).I did really enjoy my time here and would wholeheartedly recommend others stay, just be fully aware of the situation. Ask John questions and get clarity! He was more than willing to be transparent and help.

Beach

Loved the property! It felt like a home away from home. Small, but just right. Lovely interior along with a lots of small things to offer! Such as the shopping, food and free k-cups for coffee which saved some money every morning ;) When planning my next trip to Santa Monica, I’ll be sure to make sure your place is available for stay prior to anything else. Thanks again!

The host was readily available for any questions we had. There are many dining options available nearby and even a huge grocery store. Hermanito’s for dinner (across the street) and the Blue Daisy for breakfast were terrific.
