キャリッジハウスは、オーナーと建築家がモダンな生活を、オリジナルの納屋のような構造の素朴な/産業的な特徴と融合させるように巧みに設計したユニークな生活空間です。 荒削りの柱と梁、納屋の木製パネル、レンガ敷きの床は慎重に保存され、スパのようなバスルーム、グルメキッチン、セントラルAC、地下温水プール、広大な庭園（有機野菜/ハーブ「キッチンガーデン」）が追加されました。

設備の整ったグルメキッチンでスナックや食事を準備します。これには、すべての新しいミーレアプライアンスが含まれます。これには、白いコリアンカウンタートップに囲まれたダブルシンクの反対側の肉屋ブロック島に建てられた商用品質の5バーナーコンロとオーブンが含まれます。

2つ目のミーレスチームオーブンが壁に組み込まれ、豆を挽いてコーヒー/エスプレッソを抽出するための便利なミーレコーヒーシステム、ラテ/カプチーノ用の牛乳を蒸す、またはお茶用の水をすべてボタンを押すだけで！

料理とパントリーのアイテムは、床から天井までの白いドアの後ろのキャビネットの壁にきちんと保管されているため、キッチンはまばらで最小限に見え、元の構造のユニークで元の建築要素に焦点が当てられます。

キッチンはダイニングエリアに通じており、大聖堂の天井の下にクレレストリーの窓と吊り下げ式のシャンデリアが付いた長い農場テーブル（6席）があります。 ダイニングエリアの両側にある2組のフレンチドアは、一方が庭/庭に通じており、もう一方が夏の寝台/読書ポーチです。

素晴らしい部屋の奥には、床から天井まで届く窓に囲まれたガス燃料の暖炉の前でくつろぐことができる居心地の良いリビングエリアがあります。 暖炉のそばで寄り添い、冬には雪が舞うのを眺めたり、夏には窓を開けて新鮮なそよ風や鳥のさえずりを楽しんでください。 大型のフラットスクリーンテレビは、映画を見るためにマントルピースの上の壁に取り付けられています。

一日の終わりには、階段を登って2階のマスターベッドルームスイート（下の素晴らしい部屋を見下ろす内部のケースメントウィンドウ）に行きます。 スイートには、豪華なリネン付きのクイーンベッドと、ジャグジー浴槽/シャワー付きの新しく改装されたバスルームが備わっています。

1階にはさらに2つのベッドルームがあります。フルサイズのプラットフォームベッドのあるゲストベッドルームと、ツインベッド2台の子供用ベッドルームです。 ツインベッドルームは、キャリッジハウスの元の入り口であり、2階建てのノースライト窓、大聖堂の天井、オリジナルの納屋の木製パネルが特徴です。

家を囲む敷地は、緑豊かな多年生の庭園と、地下の温水プール、屋外のシッティングエリア、敷地の裏を流れる一年中の小川へと続く小道に囲まれています。 小川の向こう側の土地は未開発で保護された保護地です。

An incredibly special little gem in Woodstock

My husband and I rented this wonderful little carriage house for a long anniversary weekend (in winter!) and it couldn't have been more perfect. While I say little, the place is quite spacious with a wonderful open plan living room & kitchen and a wonderful fenced in backyard. We didn't need all the bedrooms but we would easily return with friends & family. The mix of old & new architecture combined with the thoughtful decor that was both artful & comfortable (yes comfy!) made our stay magical. It's one-click controlled fireplace made our stay super warm cozy (& easy!) in the winter and it's top of the line modern coffee machine... well, you can't ask for more. (we're def coffee snobs). This house is also perfectly tucked away and gives you the feeling of tranquility, peace & quiet without losing the wonderful ability to wake every morning and stroll into town. It's a 2 second walk into town for shopping & eating without ever feeling like you are too close with still some privacy. Can't beat it! As our first trip to Woodstock, there is no doubt the Carriage House made us fall in love with the entire town. To be able to walk to galleries, boutique shops, and restaurants and then walk back to find our serenity tucked just behind the main street was absolutely priceless. We also can't rave enough about the property manager. Her thoughtfulness & attentiveness from day 1 made our stay everything we ever wanted. She made our stay that much better with her suggestions, help & willingness to accommodate our arrival & departure times. If you are looking for a weekend away, or a long weekend away as we did, and you love artistry, attention to detail, and want to get 'away from it all' without 'going off the grid', don't overlook this place. It's an incredibly special little gem.

Quirky and…

I struggled with this review, as the house is in a great location and it is cute. The yard is large, fully fenced, and nicely landscaped. With that said, there were some definite issues with the house. I do not like writing this type of review, but feel that I need to so that others understand the house when thinking about the price that comes along with it. Immediately upon walking into the house, you smell a strong musty odor, and there was also incense burned prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, incense bothers me, and gives me a terrible headache. It took about 24 hours for both to dissipate, as running the AC seemed to help with the musty smell, but the back of the house (bedroom with twins and laundry area) still smelled quite bad. While I do not cook on vacation, we do snack, have drinks, and prepare meals for our dog. With that, the freezer is in the laundry room (making getting ice inconvenient), there were about 7 glasses (all the size of juice glasses), and no microwave (not listed in the description of the kitchen, but never even thought to check that). There were no less than 30 different wine glasses, but when drinking beer, soda, or water, an 8 oz glass is not ideal. The house is also just uncomfortable… the couch is like a brick, the stools at the kitchen island are horrible ,and the kitchen table chairs while comfy, are too low for the table. Some of the towels appeared to be a bit dirty, and they too smelled like incense, which made us run to the store for detergent to wash them. The washing machine (front loader) is also in need of a cleaning… the rubber gasket is full of mold. The house could also use a good cleaning and refresh – there were many cobwebs in the ceilings, corners, around the tv, etc… that we took down, we ran the vacuum, and the screen door is in need of repair (torn down the side). Beware of the sink in the master, there is no hot water, no water pressure, and when turned on sounds like off-tune bagpipes. The shower on the other hand, has plenty of hot water and pressure – super odd. It feels like no expense was spared when the home was renovated, given the appliances and fixtures, but there are some issues that need addressed with the property. In case you are wondering, no we didn’t complain during the stay. We have done that in the past, and then had hours of our day spent with cleaning and repair crews in the home – not ideal while on vacation especially if you have a dog with you.

Perfect Getaway

Second time staying at a property managed by these folks - everything is run perfectly and the property itself is amazing. Walking distance to town, private backyard with a great saline pool, a perfect, cozy getaway with my family, would love to stay there again

The perfect escape

Exquisitely restored and furnished former carriage house, feels totally private with the yard backing onto a stream and nature preserve yet a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants downtown. 10 stars.

The property is very nice and an oasis in the busy village in the summer. It was easy to social distance by the wonderful pool every day. But if you want to venture out its a short walk to shopping, restaurants, or hiking trials in nearby park. We enjoyed our two weeks here and would likely come back again.

Serene, yet close to everything

I wish this was our forever home. The house is beautiful; the layout is so smart. I love to cook and the kitchen was a dream. The pool was lovely. We spent so much time in the yard- playing with the dogs, reading, checking out the stream. It was warm enough during the day for a swim, but cool enough in the evenings to use the fireplace. The bedroom upstairs is fantastic. The cross breeze when you open all the windows and the luxury linens made for the best nights sleep. We walked into town everyday. We highly recommend and will be back.

Peaceful & relaxing stay in woodstock

Had the best time at this house. Wonderful location and the pool and backyard are amazing. Such a peaceful relaxing stay and excellent communication and organization from the property managers. Only suggestion would be more comfortable mattresses but had a great stay regardless!

Carriage House Woodstock

We arrived April 28th 2019 with our two daughters ,one husband and a sixteen month granddaughter. The house is in the perfect location as walking to restaurants and shopping was very easy. It’s also very quiet with nice neighbors. The house has a great kitchen with all the amenities you’ll need. Plenty of glasses, kitchen utensils, pots and pans. We however only cooked one dinner but did have all of our breakfast meals in. The showers were great with good water pressure, nice towels and sheets. We used the fireplace most every day as the days were cool. We weren’t able to take advantage of the pool or the yard do to the time of year but looks like it will be lovely in the summer months. We would definitely come back to this location if we visit the area again.

Stylish house with a homey feel

We had a very pleasant stay at the carriage house. It is ideally situated in the heart of Woodstock. You can walk into town and access hikes very easily. The house is beautifully designed and feels very homey. Everything was clean and easy to use. In fact, we liked our stay so much that we immediately booked it for another future visit.

Perfect Fall getaway

We had a great time at the house, it was the perfect spot for a weekend get-together with parents and in-laws. Right in Woodstock, which was great since we could easily walk to places and explore all the shops and restaurants. The house itself was very well appointed and had everything we needed, and then some. We'll have to go back in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful backyard, pool, and garden!

We enjoyed the house from the moment we stepped in. Very clean and had averything you need, from a great kitchen, comfortable beds, a great garden and a heated pool. Perfect weekend escape!

Visited for an August weekend along with 2 kids and grandparents (6 people total). The house had something for everyone - peaceful outdoor space, pool, minutes from great music and restaurants. Definitely coming back!

A piece of heaven

Stay here - you have found the perfect place! You feel like you are out in the woods, but you are also just a short walk down the driveway from the cute little town of Woodstock, filled with cute gift shops, delicious restaurants, and lots of nostalgia from the days of the Woodstock festival (which actually took place an hour away, but I digress). The house has been beautifully designed keeping the old wood beams presumably from an old carriage house, adding large windows overlooking artfully designed gardens (windows big enough for us to notice a groundhog finding a morning nibble) and the most up to date appliances we have ever seen. The pool is in the shade so you don't get burned, but it is heated so nicely it is comfortable for swimming even for those of us who chill easily. We loved the unicorn float the most - I hope that is still there when you come. The property managers were immediately responsive to any concern we had. They have very reasonable requests like taking your shoes off in the house and not tossing your wet bathing suit on the furniture which probably help to keep the property in great condition. We all loved it!

AMAZING WOODSTOCK ABODE

The carriage house was clean and lovely. So close to Tinker St, we were able to walk each morning to get coffee/ breakfast etc . The kitchen in the home was such a highlight, and so were the rooms! Would recommend anyone who wants to experience the heart of Woodstock!

Perfect mix of modern and rustic. Beautiful, clean, and steps to town! Everything was perfect!

We were a group of 6 having a college reunion weekend of relaxing, eating, and catching up without our kids!! We loved every aspect of the house and enjoyed being so close to all the great restaurants and shops of Woodstock. The cottage house was charming - rustic with a bunch of modern touches - and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly! The host was easy and nice to work with. We are looking forward to coming back!!

Beautiful and charming cottage!!

Can't wait to go back! This was an absolutely lovely home with walking proximity to restaurants, bars , and shops. The cottage was so charming! Chelsea the property manager, was so nice and was quick to respond to all my questions. The cottage is beautifully designed, and very clean. The pool is amazing! It's surrounded by the gorgeous and lush garden with many trees and it's a perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. I honestly can't wait to go back! This is the perfect house!!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time staying at the Carriage House with our dog and baby. The house was super clean and extremely well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more) to cook and grill. We enjoyed many hikes, walking through Woodstock, and relaxing in the comfortable house. Nice linens and towels were just one of the many small touches that made us feel at home. The fenced in yard was great for our dog to be able to play in.

Truly a home away from home.

Our group (6 adults, a child, and a dog) loved spending Memorial Day weekend at the Carriage House. The house came equipped with everything one could think of for a weekend getaway, including a herd garden! It is very conveniently located close to town. And the heated pool was an added bonus! We will surely be back!

Lovely home.

We had a lovely long weekend in this cute carriage house. Easy access to downtown Woodstock and restaurants. The dog loved following the sun around the windows. We would definitely recommend this place.

Charming, cosy place!!!

Came up for New Years - two couples and a dog. Its a beautiful charming house with a very modern kitchen; perfect for cooking. The house was the perfect size for the 4 four of us, and we could have easily had two more. Loved the kitchen - was so much fun to cook in. The gas fireplace made it even more cosy and tougher to leave and explore the area. Easy walking to the center of town, and the nearest sledding hill! Will definitely go back!
