My sister and I visited Oahu to celebrate my 50th birthday, and we could not have chosen a better condo to rent! It is in the perfect location, just a couple of blocks from the beach with a ton of restaurants, shops, and other sites all within walking distance. Having the free parking space made all the difference. We didn't want to have to waste a lot of our time organizing activities around bus schedules, so it was so great having the parking pass and being able to come and go as we wanted.
The condo comes equipped with pretty much everything you would need -- beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, snorkel gear, a boogie board, and even little coolers and ice packs to make it easy to pack a lunch. Cathy thought of everything! The bed is super comfortable and even sharing it, we never heard each other get up in the night or morning.
The interior of the condo is great and looks just like the pictures, but we didn't spend much time in there. When I was at the condo, I lived on the lanai, with it's incredible view of the golf course, canal, and rolling hills. It's so peaceful, and that was truly my favorite spot.
The check in and out process was super easy, and Cathy was great at following up on how things were going with us. The property was clean and extremely well maintained. The condo does have an AC unit, but we didn't use it as we were completely comfortable with just the breezes coming off the 31st floor. It has a nice TV set up, which we also didn't use because, well, we were in Hawaii! It also seems to be pretty well equipped for cooking, but we didn't do much of that either other than breakfast on the lanai.
In terms of activities, I highly recommend a day at Pearl Harbor, the hike up Diamond Head, the Manoa Falls hiking trail, and snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Cuckoo Coconuts is a great little local bar that has live music. Also, there is a short fireworks show at the Hyatt (not the one closest to the condo, but about a 10 minute walk up the beach) on Friday nights.
I love this condo, and if I were to return to Oahu, I would definitely stay here again!
