Escape to this brand new cabin in the small upper peninsula town of Hulbert. Located way back off the road for full seclusion offering the true UP experience. Located directly on the ORV/snowmobile trail so no trailering to a trailhead required. Centrally located to attractions like tahquamenon falls, Soo Locks, Pictures Rocks, Fiborn quarry, etc. With a total of 8 beds and enough room to sleep a max of 14, this delightful retreat offers a comfortable stay for guests. Heated by a wood boiler that the owner stokes dialy, simply adjust the thermostat to your liking. Wood cook stove in the great room to enjoy the crackle of a fire while unwinding or bring out your inner Amish and cook a meal. Relax in the soaking bathtub or shower in the 2 bathrooms available. Heated garage with room for SXS or snowmobiles. High speed fiber optic Wi-Fi!! Follow the bridge/trail to your own private campfire pit in the woods. The bar in town is open daily 11am-close offering cold drinks and great food. Come visit for the true UP experience!

This is a great property. Plenty of space, high end finishes, and easy access to UP attractions. It’s very quiet and peaceful.

Excellent property and home. Seemed to built built as a VRBO! Excellent amount of living space. Bedrooms are large. Showers and bathrooms were large and very nice. Parking is a little tight but with some forethought and maneuvering we got in and out with a 30foot gooseneck without incident. Very quiet just outside of town! Would stay there again!

Nice place

Very nice house in rural Michigan. We loved the beautiful cabin, and quiet setting. This was probably one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in a long time. We had a lot of fun!

What an amazing find! Wonderful base for our UP adventures! Had everything you could want and more. Blackstone was a great addition for a meal of smash burgers. Kitchen well stocked. Beds comfy. Linens plentiful. Firepit really cool. Just what we all needed for a weekend getaway. Our group of 14 loved it! Nice to not have any concerns or unmet needs.

This was an awesome house. Really well done. Clean and had everything we could need. Good parking. We had 3 vehicle with trailers and side by sides. Great size for larger group. Beds slept great. Kitchen was awesome and the bathrooms were top of the lineModern farmhouse with an up north vibe!! Great WiFi and good TV. Used the blackstone for cooking and sat on the porch and listened to the quietHad deer cross through the yard. Met the host. Super nice and he was from our neck of the woods at home. We road the trails. Went to Lake Superior. Lots of great things to see I highly recommend this property!!

very nice!

our group really enjoyed this farmhouse! beautiful finishes in bathrooms and kitchen. plenty of space for all the kids to play. very clean. balcony off the master bedroom was so peaceful. house sits way back in the woods. we did have some trouble getting our trailers back there and parking everything. we had 3 truck with long long trailers, and a transit van. tight squeeze but we fit. there is extra parking on property but it sits closer to the road, we just didn’t want to have our vehicles/trailer that far away. pictures of parking area at the house would be nice in the listing. we absolutely recommend !

Images do not match house. All walls were OSB. no blinds on many of the windows. only the bathroom has blinds. Zero building permits were pulled per local building inspector. Load bearing beam in garage not properly supported. Spindles on balcony over 4" apart which is a code violation. Stair risers were inconstant in height. No smoke detectors installed in any of the bedrooms and not linked or hardwired together. Missing outlet covers with some bate wires exposed. Outlet for washing machine not GFCI circuit. While we were out snowmobiling the toilet water tank leaked and water ran down to garage floor. Owner falsely filed an insurance claim against VRBO. Garbage disposal leaked which is when we found moldy towels under the kitchen sink. Overall the experience was disappointing and made us feel unsafe. We have images of all the above items of needed.

If you like to be out in the country, this is the place. Birds singing in the morning & no city traffic. The beds were great & the kitchen very spacious.
