Tucked among tall pines, majestic oaks, and swaying palms, The Floridian rests on a full private acre in SGI’s East End and offers a relaxing hot tub! Just a short five-minute stroll brings you to the sugar sand beaches, especially inviting in the crisp autumn air. After your walk, gather around an evening fire for s’mores or unwind in the hot tub. Extra fridge downstairs is ready for the day’s fresh catch. Stop by the Beach Pit for BBQ, Bay Side Coffee Company for your morning brew, and Aunt Ebby’s ice cream for a seasonal treat.

Wonderful!

Clean and quiet and perfect. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and so did our chocolate lab. Perfect for the quiet side of the island and lots of room for our lab to explore.

Wonderful St. George island

Great place. Close to state park. Hot tub was wonderful on cold nights. Really close to the beach. Rode our bikes everywhere. Will come back next year

Great property in a cute town

We loved our stay at this house! We stayed for our anniversary. It was right after Hurricane Helene, but we still had a great time! Make sure to check with owner on the easiest walk to the beach. It’s a little hidden (at least it was after the hurricane). Very clean. Great area.

The house decor is bright, airy, and beachy. The property is very quiet and private. The owner was very helpful. It is a quick walk to the beach (4 min.). There is no access to the bay but you can catch a few glimpses of it from the porch. We saw bald eagles flying between the trees while sitting in the hot tub (which was delightful in the cool evenings). There is a nest ofeagles not far from the house that you can visit at the end of 6th St. This is also a great fishing area on the bay side. The beach was not crowded at all and had beautiful soft, white sand. We made at least two trips a day to the beach to walk the dog. There are beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys, and a cart to haul it to the beach in. There is a fire pit on the property and it was relaxing to sit by the fire. All appliances were in working order and the furniture was comfortable. Any questions about the island were answered by the locals (who are extremely friendly) on the St. George Island FB page very quickly and thoroughly.

We had an amazing time staying at The Floridian! It was simply beautiful, the property and the neighborhood! This rental allowed our dogs and it was hidden away enough we could allow them off the leash, which we all thoroughly enjoyed!! Beach access was a cute hidden path and not too far, about a 2 minute walk. They provided beach supplies, which was extremely helpful.Only suggestion would be better kitchen pans. It was difficult cooking breakfast in the morning.All in all 10/10, we will be back.Thanks for sharing your property with us and the memories!

Overall the place is comfortable and clean. I just think it needs a refresh and deep clean along with some ongoing maintenance. I noticed the hot area string lights were on during the day, but when we came home at night they were off. The mud dauber nests over the hot tub need to be scraped off. They were a nuisance while enjoying the hot tub. (There are multiple nests and the light may be full as well)
The most obvious nest.
This needs to be cleaned.

Fantastic Location!

The house is right off the main road and surrounded by trees. Very quiet and it was only 3 minute walk to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with pans, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, etc. There is a little gas fireplace In the living room and it made Christmas Day a little sweeter. The house is located close to the park and it was a short drive. The host John was incredibly responsive and kind. Day

Clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable

Checking in was a breeze with an easy keyless entry code. The property inside and out was spotless. There was a lovely deck with a lot of space to see the stars and sky at night from, and to drink coffee on in the morning. No loud noises or sounds from cars or neighbors. Walking to the beach or driving to the state park was a breeze. Communication was a delight- the young lady was so sweet and responsive to my inquiries. 11 out of 10, would recommend.
