This is a lovely property! The ceiling of the great room is a high post and beam. All amenities included except a washer and dryer. The lake is just a few feet away and is gorgeous. Our visit was in October so no tourists around and weather was a bit cool not cold, and the leaves were in peak color everywhere. The king bed is very comfy with nice bed linens and warm down covers! A great gas fireplace! Maybe the only suggestion I could make would be a new coffeemaker plus a French Press on hand. Our stay was peaceful for us and our two doggies. I highly recommended Lake Carmi property!

Our family of 4 loved our week at Gina’s cottage. We loved waking up to the lake and fishing off the dock. We took day trips to Granby Zoo, Ben & Jerry’s factory and rode the gondola sky ride at Stowe. The house was set up with the basics for what we needed for the week. Gina was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The kids loved the bunk room. Thanks for having us again, Gina!

Enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The cabin was clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Enjoyed watching the birds, drinking coffee in the morning in the sitting area that overlooks the water. Very peaceful. Had a large yard for my dog which is always a bonus. Would definitely book again. We would have loved to get out in the kayaks but time did not allow us to do so. Maybe next time. I can’t say enough good things about Gina our host. She is a wonderful host and very quick to respond.

Amazing lake front camp!

We really enjoyed our stay! Check-in was smooth and communication was great throughout. My dogs really loved jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake. My daughter loved seeing all of the birds come and go. There was plenty of space and it featured all of amenities we could ask for. Look forward to our next stay being right back here!

We had a nice week at this cottage. The AC worked great, Wifi was strong, the kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was well stocked as well. Reading a book with my morning coffee right on the water was lovely. The hammock is practically over the lake which is awesome, and the hummingbirds were at the feeder while I relaxed in it. Another cute touch was the paint by number canvas set up on an easel for guests to pitch in on. Fun and relaxing! The proximity to Canada was a huge plus for us. Just over the border is the cutest little town. Sit on the deck for lunch at the restaurant and don't miss the bakery. We also did day trips to the Granby Zoo and Montreal. My husband and son enjoyed fishing off the dock. Gina was very responsive by messenger.Three bummers: the ad listed laundry when I booked it and there was none (as has now been updated.) You can't drink the water but there was no note/indication other than putting two and two together with the water cooler in the kitchen and a little one in the bathroom. The lake has the algae bloom more than I realized. That's on me for not researching the lake more but was a definite bummer. Hopefully the state is able to rectify it with the plans they have in place for the fall, because otherwise this cottage is so lovely and peaceful.

I have stayed at many places over the past few years and this location by far exceeded my expectations. We tend to travel with extra things based off from past experiences and we didn't need to use them. The fireplace at night was a beautiful touch after a long day out on the water and docks. I loved seeing an art piece made out of rulers from different places in Vermont and seeing my home town. I traveled with my grandchildren and they absolutely loved this experience. This home was stunning and I truly hope that we can visit again soon. I highly recommend staying here
