Although the location and size of the property was good, the cleanliness and overall condition of the cottage was really bad. We were unable to use the sofa in the living room because it was so filthy. Walking through the door from the assigned parking space, the floor was very weak. We had to be sure to stay to one side of the entryway. There is a hole in the floor in the hallway bathroom that is simply covered by a rug. Stepping up to the sink, your foot actually sinks into the floor. The mattresses/box springs in the master room were both visibly stained with large, dark, stains. There is no key or access lock to the front door so you always have to exit the back door and walk all the way aroind the property when leaving. This property has so much potential but it seems to be falling into extreme disrepair.

Thanksgiving at Kure Beach

could use more dish towels. Need front door knob fixed. Thanks for help when needed to get in back door. Enjoyed open area for family to eat. could use 1 more chair at table.

Cottage 9

We loved Cottage 9 and will be back! Location was perfect! We spent most of our time fishing because the weather was perrrrfect! But if the weather wouldn’t have been great, we still would have enjoyed the coziness of this cottage.

Overall a good place but could use some work

Check the dishes for cleanliness, check for bugs, check the floors for weak spots and dirt, watch out for the stains on the couch, bring your own pillow, and you do have access to open the front door once it’s locked. You have to walk around to the back to unlock that door and enter. Wish the place had been a lot cleaned and wish you had a code or key for the front door. Simple improvements!

Great location!

My family have been coming to Kure beach for almost a decade. We love the location of this home so close to restaurants, pier, store, coffee shop and arcade. All our favorite places. I gave it a 4 star due to needing a couch that’s easier to clean due to stains. We placed blanket on top so we could sit on it. Would recommend and will be booking this home again next year!

Vacasa was very easy to deal with!

Pros: clean, modern, had almost everything we needed, extra supplies left. Master bed was comfortable Close to beach Air cond worked very well. Nice porch, with rockers. Kitchen well lit. Area was quiet being on a main road. Close to area amenities. Blessings, John 20:29
