The first houseboat offered was a premium houseboat one even though you described it as “Dismal”. Though your booking was for a deluxe houseboat (Deluxe houseboats are the basic category) I decided to give you a premium one. Before the cruise or trip these houseboats are thoroughly cleaned, washrooms are sterilised and rooms are made up with fresh linen. You were complaining about the seating area as it was small. We cannot make it small or big and there are strict specifications from the Inland shipping authority. These houseboats should maintain the right balance with or with out it’s permitted load. And our 5 bedroom houseboat was allowed to carry 40 people in a day cruise, but you were only 3. You refused to stay in that houseboat so the staff took you to our 5-bedroom premium houseboat which can accommodate 10 to 15 people on an overnight stay. You were highly impressed and readily started cruising. From your own words “The food we were served was excellent and the staff were excellent.” So you enjoyed eating, drinking, cruising through the lakes and fun-frolicking for 6 hrs and you just walked away when the houseboat halted at the docking area. It’s surprising that it took 6hrs to find out there was no bed sheet and only 1 towel to share between 2 people. There were 3 men exclusively working on board for three of you day and night. Did you ask them? No. Did you contact me ever? I sent you messages in your whatasapp. email and Vrbo. You never even bothered to contact me at least once before your arrival. I can still see that my messages in your whatsapp is not yet opened. After a day you sent me a message in Vrbo asking for a refund otherwise you will escalate this case to Vrbo. I had already informed the company about your weird behaviour. A day cruise is the major attraction or significant part of this houseboat cruise. You already completed that. It has become a new trend or fashion to raise false complaint ask for a refund. We could have processed your refund if you rejected the service in the first place. The trip was spoiled by your frustrated, incalcitrant and obstinate teenage son not the by standard of our boat. You never had any control on him, you both were helpless and just nodded to what he said. This immature behaviour put our reputation in danger and you jeopardised us with a poor review.
