The host was wonderful and beautifully accommodating, the home was cozy and warm. The scenery was breathtaking with adorable ducks and not to mention the fresh eggs. My partner and I absolutely adored it.

This is our second stay at Mr Haney’s Place and we loved it just as much this time as before. The kitchen is more than fully stocked. Everything we need is at our fingertips, it’s quiet and peaceful and close to town. Kelly is an amazing host and goes above and beyond. This is always our place to stay when we’re visiting friends and family in this area.

Beautiful farm property complete with pond and over-water gazebo. The house is located on this farm property. Very secluded and quiet.

This cozy little cottage will be our place to stay from now on whenever we go back home to visit our kids and grandkids. Very clean and well stocked. The hosts are amazing lovely people who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Kelly left farm fresh eggs and jellies and jams. She knew we were gathering to celebrate Christmas with our family there, so she decorated and put up a tree for us. We loved our hosts and our stay there!

Mount Vernon Hideaway

Lovely stay at Mr. Haney's Place just outside of Mt. Vernon, IL. So much better than a hotel. This 13 acre property waa comfortable and relaxing. Kelly and Matt our hosts were so gracious. We got a great night's sleep in a comfortable bed and enjoyed all the amenities. Thank you Kelly and Matt.
